Vanitas' theme has little interludes of Ven's, Sora's and Roxas' themes in it (though Roxas' theme is really hard to hear in it). It is one of the best final boss pieces in the series imo.

Jesse McCartney is a great VA. His 'thank you' sounded very sincere and heartwarming

Sora, Ven and Roxas are different people. Ven and Venitas were once the same person. Ven is the light and Venitas is the dark. It’s why Ven is so pure.

Bbs is my personal favorite in the series. I think the darker story is just fantastic. Also love that Terra is a boss fight in KH2 and he’s one of the hardest bosses in KH history

In case you didn’t know Ventus kinda already met Sora. in the prologue it was Sora who was talking to Ventus and helped him rebuild his heart, that’s why we see Ventus Comes back to him, because they share a deep connection.

31:35 YES! i‘m from germany and i’m 26 now. i grew up with kingdom hearts. i‘ve always loved it and i never hid the fact that i play it and that i love it. i got bullied at school because gaming, disney, anime and stuff like that were always considered „not cool“ and lame and so on. despite that i never changed. my left underarm is covered with kingdom hearts tattoos and about 3 years ago i met a group of friends who love me for exactly what i am. i‘m the one whos there when nobody is. i‘m the one who pays for the food when a friend cant afford it. i‘m the one who takes his friends home because i don‘t want them to go on their own. for the first time ever i feel appreciated and they ask me „why are you like that? i‘ve never met anyone who cares about his friends like you do.“ Well, THIS is why i am this way and i love it.

It's awesome to see that you've been able to experience Kingdom Hearts through an empathetic lens as I did when I was growing up. I was always trying put the pieces together and hypothesize what was could have been happening throughout the series. These days most players I find trample over the plot rather than soak it in, but this was refreshing to see! Definitely hope to see more 😄
