Sora’s biggest problem is he doesn’t think things clearly. He’s gone back to level 1 several times because he stumbled into an enemy’s trap lol. Even in Re:Mind he gave up his own power to save Kairi. It’s respectful yeah but his recklessness holds him back a bit.

This is pre Kingdom hearts 3, you could argue he was lacking after or before DDD but now he is definately the top Kingdom Hearts master.

@@Raximus3000 He's been reset so many times at this point, I think they should acknowledge the dude is just a badass normal who if you combined all of his experiences together without the resets, he'd be the most powerful keyblade master. Think about it, defeated the heartless cabal in KH1 including Maleficent, defeated an ansem possessed Riku, and then Ansem himself twice! Then while losing his memories, defeats 3 members of the organization, then after being asleep for one year, and meanwhile having damaged memory and power because of Xion's siphoning, goes on to defeat the rest of Organization XIII, an ARMY of heartless on his own (he'd of faced a much larger army if every one else wasn't going all out of course), and Xemnas in multiple forms, AND ROXAS. Then, he defeats Xemnas again, even though it was a trap. He's just too powerful, not to be underestimated. And he keeps himself together while abusing the fuck out of the power of waking. Rescues Ventus, defeats the new organization XIII, defeats Terranort, Riku Replica, Ansem, Xigbar, Marluxia, Luxord, Xemnas, Young Xehanort, and even Master Xehanort. All within a few hours. Dude's a beast, I'm convinced the only thing holding him back is his simple (and thats not an insult, he just doesn't want for much, he wants his friends to be alright and then go home and catch the surf) nature, and it's why I'm damned convinced The Master of Masters has got to be some form of Sora who said "fuck it I got ambition n shit, I'm gonna play good versus evil and pull off the xehanort thing so much better, in fact, I'm gonna create the conditions for everything I went through in the FIRST PLACE". To what end? I do not know, but I'm convinced of it

All that abuse, and torment, and the gaslighting, and just all the horrible things in CoM happened to Sora's Heartless. Kairi didn't make him human again, she made him like Ansem. A heartless shaped like a human.

Meanwhile, he's only had a keyblade for just over two years, he was nerfed twice, and he spent a whole year of that time sleeping.

@@mirrorzone5224 Not accurate, he has had 4 journeys filled with battles and dangers that count for quite the harsh training and even after he was "nerfed" he reached a new level at the end of said journey. Aqua in the dark realm is difficult to say since time is weird there, not to mention how she ended up in there. Not counting of course physical talent and of course the difference in strength of heart which is important to a any keybearer.

@@Raximus3000 He had 4 journeys with breaks between them, and for the vast majority of those journeys he fought the forces of darkness in the Realm of Light or on neutral ground. She fought the forces of darkness nonstop for 2 years (from her perspective) on their home turf where they are at their strongest.

Then what about Riku, he has no training either and he's on par with Sora now. Roxas was never trained either and there was no keyblade wielder to teach him. Same with Xion. The only people who suffer of what you're saying (only good due to training) are the wayfinder trio since they were the last generation of wielders to have been properly trained.

@@Mario-us5xm Those guys don't really matter Einstein. They're just secondary characters. Pretty much meatshields until Sora one shots the bad guys with his BS plot armor or plot devices. He's the star. He's the only character that REALLY matters. The others are just in the way. Of course I'd much rather have Riku as the main hero. His character is much more interesting. Sora is just another brainless dumbass with BS plot armor. Like typical shonen protagonists.

If you discount all his fights as nothing, Merlin's training and Phil's training... Yep, nothing what so ever.

@@Raximus3000 Phil's training was fucking barrels dude lmao. And Merlin's was average magic like Donald's. He has NO Keyblade training for his form nor does he have proper sword stance.

@@Mario-us5xm You mean breaking barrels? How is that any different from the "test" for the mark of mastery? His stance is proper since the get go,(and more functional than Ventus's) if you notice all fights in destiny islands are above the average person. What he lacked he learned during his journeys and that made him quite strong. Saying he just gained his abilities is a lie.
