Yes. In the remaster, Roxas' grunts were made almost identical to Ven's grunts. A little bit of a shame, but I think it's cool.

@@kevinkaslana9060 A good amount of Roxas’s voice clips were recycled from Days on the DS as well which honestly works very well! It is kinda strange that they replaced almost all of his voice clips from the original version of 2 with the exception of Kay, Cmon, Er, Oww etc with Clips from BBS that are Ven’s but he stills sounds good it’s just not exactly the same.

@@narutoboy423 kh2 was released before bbs, that’s why roxas looks different in the original kh2 on the ps2. in the final mix they tried to make him look more similar to ventus because ventus’ character wasn’t fully developed when kh2 first came out.

@MrWereverForever some worlds yes deep jungle is pretty annoying and some look the same but traverse town is probably the only world that doesn't have the problem of looking the same but I just like being let lose in a non linear level to explore

@@theidioticgamer893 It's a (worse) remaster of KH2's PS2 soundtrack. A good number of songs are better in the remaster, but the original blows some tracks like this one out of the water

I agree for a lot of these tracks. I liked the synthetic violin over the real one for tracks like KH2’s overworld theme and The Thirteenth Struggle, but I blame some of that on nostalgia. The biggest problem about the remastered tracks is the bad equalizer. Sometimes, there are instruments in tracks that you were supposed to hear, but you can barely hear them anymore when remastered. An example is in A Fight to the Death where you’re supposed to hear the piano play a segment of Dearly Beloved, but it’s barely audible. Another example is the piano that was originally GOING TO TOWN at the beginning of Sinister Shadows is now blown off the radar by the violas/drums/cellos. I can still recognize the instruments but I get saddened about it because other friends and my spouse might not even realize and appreciate all of the detail of the music you’re supposed to hear and feel when their first playthrough is the remastered game.

But what makes Twilight Thorn so striking is that he's so big. I'm kind of accustomed to smaller enemies moving around all jittery-like (think of the Flood Unversed from BBS, or even some of the Heartless), but the Twilight Thorn? It's like, Darkside-level huge but still moves around as frenetically as an insect

3Crafters But we shouldn’t have NEEDED a dlc to get a higher or tougher challenge. That is just bullshit. Does that happen in ff7, no. After you beat Normal mode (which is pretty tough), there’s a hard mode added to the game. No update, no dlc... none of that. And even then, the limits and reaction commands are still the (don’t touch anything and win style)

@@cloudshines812 well that's the game's mechanics, your critics won't change them, you can either decide to not use it (it's not like you HAVE to use then to finish the game, you decide if you use it or not) or simply don't play the game and watch the cutscenes... problem solved

@@cloudshines812 One. Play on critical mode. Two the Final Mix versions of previous games are literally just DLC in concept. And "This game shouldn't have needed DLC" is literally a fallacy to claim.

Everyone’s saying the original sounded significantly better, but I personally can’t really tell the difference except for the fact that this one has cool violin instruments and the original doesn’t. I gotta give them more of a listen to notice it.

There's so much more going on in the mid and bass levels in this new version. I think because the older version didn't have so much going on in those ranges, it was more appropriate for the snare to be louder and more pronounced. In this version, the lower register carries everything. It's more balanced IMO.
