According to the official in-game timeline, Aqua went to Destiny Islands right after Terra left, during sunset. But, considering that Sora's dad came to the islands to bring the two kids home after Terra and Riku's scene, I find very unlikely for Sora and Riku to be back at the islands again during sunset and even meet Aqua at the same time.
Ventus's scene at Destiny Islands, on the other hand, occurs in the morning, which is supposedly on the next day. Therefore I like to believe Aqua actually visited Destiny Islands on the next day Terra went there.

KINGDOM HEARTS TIMELINE playlist: • Playlist
KINGDOM HEARTS TIMELINE is an incredibly massive project I've been wanting to do forever. The only thing that was stopping me from actually working on it was the still-incomplete plot of the χ[chi] portion of the whole saga, which is also the most confusing one. However, I did want to deliver this before the release of KINGDOM HEARTS 3, so we could have the perfect road to the final chapter of the Xehanort saga at our disposal and relive, together, all of the chapters in a definitive and never-seen-before way.
KINGDOM HEARTS TIMELINE is, in fact, different by any other playthroughs or projects around because it is composed of all the Kingdom Hearts titles released so far placed in chronological order. Beware - the events are actually settled chronologically. Which means that every single cutscene and/or gameplay part will follow the exact order of the events of the saga. For instance, the birth of Vanitas will be shown before the Mark of Mastery exam, and so on.
Every episode will start with a screen showing a complete timeline I created purposely for this project.
KINGDOM HEARTS TIMELINE doesn't want to be a simple movie made of cutscenes. If It were to be like that, there wouldn't be anything special about it. This project actually started as a playthrough, giving, of course, priority to story content.
Sitting and watching a 25 minutes video made of cutscenes we've been watching for a decade is just as boring as anything else. Gameplay bits have been thoughtfully placed to make sure you won't fall asleep when watching, giving their contribute for a more immersive experience. They are necessary for keeping people interested and entertained in a never-seen-before way to re-live the saga, watching multiple characters fighting at the same time, as well as showcasing the worlds and the variety of enemies we'll encounter through all the titles.
Boss battles are still what people look forward to the most in a Kingdom Hearts playthrough, and this project won't be exception.
Finding the right balance is not easy and not always possible -due to countless technical restrictions related to music, episode length and such- just as it's not easy having everyone thinking alike. Of course, I can't make everyone happy, but I did want to point this out.
Lastly, I want you guys to know that the amount of effort being put for this is massive. There are countless hours of work and dedication I've spent (and still spending) for this, for something we all love and care about. My channel is, after all, always been made of this - content that will grant you one of the best levels of knowledge and enjoyment of the Kingdom Hearts saga - and, as much as it's stressful having to translate every Japanese Union χ [Cross] episode, I still do that to deliver the latest story updates of the saga for you.
My main goal is working as much professionally as I can and add details where normally people wouldn't add. Not liking a content is totally fine, whereas insulting and posting offensive comment is not. There is nothing worse than spending your own time to show dedication for something we all love and see offensive reactions coming back at you. For this whole project to be completed, suggestions and questions coming from fans are well accepted and needed. My goodness, when Terra jumped in and Master, Tell Me The Truth started playing I got *PUMPED* and then you brought in the orchestrated version of Terra's theme right after, and THEN that Zantetsuken finish on Eraqus? My god, that whole sequence was too good.

I understand why people make fun of Terra. But when you think about it Terra is a victim too. People should know that Xehanort is a master so of course Terra would respect Xehanort's opinion. I love when people say look at Xehanorts face he looks evil. 🤣🤣🤣

I really blamed Eraqus for whatever happened to BBS trio. Terra is definitely easy to trick to but when it comes Xehanort, Eraqus was the one who gave assurance to the students that he can still be trusted. Of course Terra would trust him because Eraqus still trusted Xehanort. It's unfortunate for Terra and Ven for not seeing the red flags though. Aqua was just lucky because Xehanort didn't care to handle her as much so that's why she didn't fall for Xehanort's tricks because she never even dealt with Xehanort except when Terra told her what happened between Ventus and Eraqus. As for Eraqus, I cannot believe he resorted in trying to kill Ventus. Is it that hard to just sit down and talk about like what a real Master should do? Even if it became tense, but as a father figure to the trios, it surprised me that he chose to raise the Keyblade against Ventus instead of finding proper or better solutions. He tried to stop Xehanort from pursuing his desire for Keyblade War (understandably, yet he failed). Then, he tried to kill Ventus and Ven could have seen his demiss if it were not for Terra's intervention. Though it was a setup by Xehanort, I don't blame Terra at all. What he saw was Eraqus trying to kill his best friend, and Eraqus furthercontinued by trying to destroy Terra as well for intervening. It's a bad move for Eraqus. Eraqus should have not raised the Keyblade. Maybe that could have stopped everything from collapsing like a house of cards.

To think that in Ventus there is more than that. Not only the X-Blade, but even the fact he cames from another Age, is quite interesting... Are we sure that is Roxas the great mistery in Kingdom Hearts 3, as Nomura said, or is Ventus?

I'm more curious as to how he can become a weapon in the first place. In UX, Ventus always said how he doesn't have anything special about him and there was no indication whatsoever of his specialty. Of course beside of him being from another era, well,there are other Dandelions out there who travelled with him. Some that we know would be Elrena and Lauriam. Roxas is a Nobody who could co-exist together with Sora, and had defied a lot of KH logic by being able to do many things people considered impossible. So I would say yes, he is still the biggest mystery in KH world.

Man it was SO COOL how you kept terra in the dark impulse mode almost the whole eraqus fight!!! I feel like thats the way its supposed to go (like if it was all a cutscene fight), but i dont really succeed in it myself. Keep up the AWESOME work!

Amazing, just amazing. One of the best episodes yet. You're editing skills are legendary. You're use of music and tone is superb and beautiful and you make my favorite series that much better. I've seen Terra Vs. Eraqus so many times, but the way you layer it out made it SO much more emotional and actually got me teary eyed. Well done!!!

And according to Xehanort and Vanitas, 2 evils wants 3 heroes to meet them in the place called the Keyblade Graveyard! A place where all Keyblade Wielders were fighting each other long ago. I've never played BBS, although I know how the story goes, so seeing this is incredibly hype for me, even if I may not like how it will end. Also, man, that amazing Eraqus fight & the Zantetsuken finish.... So good! Shame this episode was so short! It's amazing how fast you make these, & a good thing too, considering how much more ground there is to cover! I assume each takes a full day or so because real life playtime, editing & uploading?

One thing that's been bothering me is how the X-blade has yet to be brought up in KHUx/Chi. They already passed the actual Keyblade War in the game and there was never any mention of it, so where did it come from? Where did Xehanort hear about it?

Rikusgirl001 yeah khx seems entirely based off of Kairi's grandmother's story, with none of master xehanorts knowledge having been true so far. itll be interesting to see the events that he's referring to, but I predict we'll only find on in kh3, because its going to be very relevant to how the light is going to win this time, The Power of Five style

Xehanort heard it as stories and when stories are passed down from generations some parts of the truth are lost over time. Although bear in mind, Gula mentioned Kingdom hearts in back cover so there's the hint(that’s my understanding of all of that anyway 😅)

It's the kernels of truth that inspire those stories that are what really interesting though. Xehanort says the wielders gave up their lives in search of "one ultimate key", and Report VII says the X-blade "coexists with kingdom hearts". Where did these pieces of info come from? The x-blade is at the heart of kh3, and our only source on it so far has been xehanort himself, who can hardly be trusted. What will happen if it is actually forged? Possibly the exact opposite of what xehanort thinks will happen. Who knows?

Kenneth Golden There’s really just a few big ones: Mysterious Figure, Unknown in KH1, and Lingering Will in KH2. Those are the only ones to have been seen again later with story significance. (Sephiroth doesn’t count cause KH2 basically reintroduces him). I just really want to see the trio fighting Mysterious Figure set to Project Destati’s Dark Impetus.

Ryan Flynn I don't expect him to skip Unknown in KH1. I'm pretty sure that event has something to do with the forming of Xion. Also the scene with Roxas and Xemnas "I've been to see him. He looks a lot like you." That seems to be referring to that boss fight. Also, I totally agree with you about Project Destati. They rock

Kenneth Golden Huh. I always thought Xion’s creation started when Sora reached Castle Oblivion, but maybe that meeting with Xemnas played a role as well.

If you'll remember, when Xemnas walked through Sora, lots of text quotes flashed on the screen. I'm pretty sure that was Xemnas sampling Sora's memory, which he later used to create Xion. I could be wrong, though. We'll know for sure in a few months when Everglow reaches Days. Hopefully lol.

Hey! I just wanna say I am a huge fan of your videos and I always look forward to them every day. I just wanted to ask if maybe instead of using the in-game footage for the last battle, to use the super hi-def version of it from kh 2 and edit in all of their voicelines. And if you read this, thank you so much for all of your great work, it has really put together the story really well

Because in the beginning of BBS, when Ventus had a Dive Into The Heart on Destiny Island, he met a newly born heart that healed him, and that heart was Sora's.

It amazes me in the most....disappointing way how many scnenes there were in bbs completely without music. Always felt incomplete and dull to me, even narmy sometimes when there are heavy lines dropping and then its just -crickets chirping-. So. Thank you for replacing those awkward silences with appropriate emotion! Esp the scene on the islands w/ ven and vanitas - that REALLY needed the music. Makes all the difference.

Well we know that eraqus and xehanort had the same master and that they were each told about the keyblade war, so it's possible they both learned about it from him/her. (Although the chiblade hasn't been brought up in the mobile game yet, I have a feeling we'll see it before the story is finished.)

That's what I've been wondering! Which will come first? The finale of 0.2 or KH3?? Supposedly, KH3 has a lot of flashbacks in it, so it might ruin the whole point of the Timeline. :(

I think you shouldn't have used the whole Vanitas' creation scene again, flashes would have been perfect to show how painful it is for Ventus :). Great editing tho !

The glossaries in Dream Drop Distance actually confirm this: Recusant’s Sigil: Xemnas, leader of Organization XIII, gave new names to all who entered its ranks. Each name as an anagram created from the member’s original name plus the letter X. This X is known as the Recusant’s Sigil, and has manifested itself in both obvious and insidious ways throughout Sora’s Adventures. χ -blade: If Kingdom hearts is a lock, then this blade from the age of fairy tales was the key. It could be argued that without the χ-blade, the Keyblade War might never have been waged; after all, you cannot possess what you cannot find or unlock. It is clear the blade was the inspiration for human-wrought Keyblades. The letter χ can be pronounced “key” or “kye” (leading to some confusion) and symbolizes the perfect crossing of light and darkness. The χ-blade can be forged via a high-diemnsional clash between those two poles. It is believed that the Recusant’s Sigil also derives from χ.

Say what you ant about Xehanort, and lord knows I'm not the egomaniacal, scheming sophist's biggest fan... but I really hated how obsessed with light and fearful of the darkness Eraqus was to the extent he'd kill Ven. And, had things been a bit different, Terra might've been better able to develop an immunity to the more ill effects of darkness the way Riku did...minus the being possessed by 'Ansem' bit. Oh, wait, nevermind...

I've always felt that Aqua is Obi-wan. She has to watch everything fall apart, and there's not much she can do about it. If only she had as much spunk as Obi-Wan. Maybe that makes Eraqus Mace Windu? I'm probably reading too much into this. 😅

*Spoiler Alert!!!* Skuld was the traitor, and Ventus & Lauriam the only survivors. Marluxia is a double agent, and secretly went after Sora in CoM because he suspected his connection with Ven.

(Wow, you took that post seriously? I literally just made it all up out of thin air.) Well, Skuld is actually the daughter of the MoM, used her knowledge to concoct some currently unrevealed spell or something to suspend Ventus for her nefarious purposes. She struck down Strelitzia so she could slip Ven, who had no business being a new foreteller, into their ranks. Supposedly, Lauriam and Ephemer learn of her treachery, and Lauriam gets swept up in the spell with Ven. Ven and Lauriam arrived/woke up in the future, but at different points; by the time Lauriam came onto the scene, Ventas-Vanitas was already catatonic, and Terranort was an apprentice of Ansem the Wise.
