well this was a 100% incorrect after seeing the film. Not shocked, no one gets planet of the apes films correctly these days. Far to many crazies!

I visited the UK and the US a few years ago. The apes actually resemble and sound like Americans and British people in real life.

that's a good question, as of now we only know that Noa feels some compassion towards her plight. possibly they connect in some intellectual way seeing that she is the only human somehow retaining her intelligence. We'll find out soon enough.
