Kingdom Rush Vengeance is a new strategy Tower Defense game! Veteran 3 Stars walkthrough gameplay. Fight hordes of monsters, use heroes and tons of new tower types to defend against the onslaught of HUMANS, DWARVES, and ELVES. Today we show play Denas's Castle

When fighting against that big knight at the end, Vez'Nan will have like a little circle over him when he can use his ability. Pressing him will make your archdemon do a big crowd control attack and deal tons of damage. Really useful for killing all the small pesky units around the archdemon, and also for damaging the knight.

Chris , I think that in maybe next Ironhide game, we might battle aliens, I get some hints from the end comic of Iron Marines from Borealis, like how nexus is reappears and stuff and this eye in last comic of kingdom rush vengeance that looks to me like a portal. Maybe Vez'nan already knows about threat from outer space and was being good all along but decided to take help from demons and underworld to evade this problem and that is why kingdom turned against him.

I wonder if anyone else felt underwhelmed by the difficulty of the final boss. It was extremely unique and well designed, but I thought it would be a bit harder for a boss fight, considering I had much more trouble with some of the previous levels. Maybe I'll change my opinions after impossible mode

@@kirbyjoe7484 i can't beat impossible because my Archdemon always died against 3rd paragon, they're so tough in impossible. Otherwise, in veteran you could beat this map even you forgot that your Archdemon can do groundpounds. That's the difficulty difference

@@catfox6686I just finished impossible mode. This is late but, just plop 3-4 fully upgraded blazing gems with gem of amplification on the 4 spots next to the door. The three paragons will melt before the archdemon even reaches half health. lol

@@Zythus07 I've played on mobile, and unfortunately i don't bought any premium towers, only bought some Heroes, Blazing Gem is like one of OP towers in game. I don't know if Heroes matters in this level, but my Jack got underwhelmed, I've bought Eiskalt though, still haven't tried that level yet since then

It's a neat design, and the two-part fight was great, but it is just completely lacking in challenge. This is the final level of the vanilla game and the actual boss battle is over before you even really realize what's going on. The only way you don't roflstomp the knight is if you just completely neglect to build a tower in the top corner next to the drawbridge.

Seems like it is much easier than previous series, even on Veteran. Never once there was whole screen covered with creatures or a horde of fast movers (like, 7 glacial wolves of something like that -- max). But the game looks nice and fun to play

Lt Hastings it is about the same difficulty on veteran. There is impossible difficulty though, and it’s much harder.

Lt Hastings Probably because you’ve been practicing. I picked up the old games before this came out, and brushed up on my technique. Veteran’s not that hard, so long as I discover the right strategy.

There is the Impossible, and is really hard, seriously, there is like a rule that you need to loose a lot of hearts because 5 to 10 units can pass the defenses.

Great List! But....I find the dark knights to be a little lackluster. I think their instakill upgrade is over priced, and the shield is kinda worthless.

honestly your voice for king denas puts me on edge. giving him a high pitched voice just shreds into my ears and upsets me very very much, for a variety of reasons.

This game is a very underrated game, the idea of playing as the bad guys isn’t used much and this game did it very well.

The game just stopped dropping enemies at stage 8 for me. I had to restart it, and than the same thing happened. Does sb know what to do?

Huge warning if anyone decides to use mausoleum in stage 1. I just had this happen to me: If any enemies are possessed by the end of wave 8 and they weren't killed yet (like a high sorcerer for instance) before going to the next stage, *the enemies from prior can still reach your previous stage's goal posts*, and they'll still count towards lives lost. And your previous towers would be disabled: only Vez'nan's blast or barracks can attack in the previous stage. In short, very likely you'll start stage 2 with an auto lose of hearts, because of possessed enemies. It's very very cheap and stupid, and a mechanical failure that the developers should have considered. Just a heads up for you guys out there.

Those and maybe the Heroes of Origins, most of them could be in the next game more older, the reason is of Dinas, in Origins, he is a knight, and in KR1 and Vengeance is the king, so the time of the games from Origins to Vengeance is maybe 5 to 10 years.

My rankings: 1# Bone Flickers, cuz they are cheap and worth price especially middle path upgrade 2# infernal mage, good DPS 3# Shadow archers usefull in many situations 4# Furnace , isnt that good of DPS but can get ur towers 30% damage incresse 5# Orc Shaman is good but he has huge gap of damage: 50-200 Diffrence 150 dmg 6# (i dont use and barracs) if i had to choose i would pick normal orcs

I think there are no bad guys, both Vez'nan and Denas are good, Vez'nan might have taken the gem (the corrupted tear of elyne) to have more power to deal with whatever is on that portal, and they thought it had corrupted him, cause let's remember he was the archimage of Linirea, he lived in the castle and knew, now Magnus his ex apprentice is, and Vez'nan in the first game, with the gem in his power might have wanted the same as in this game, get to the portal, because it makes no sense that in the first game he wanted to kill them all, and in this one, after he is defeated, he only wants the portal and not kill them, long story short, I think Vez'nan has always been good, you know, the end justify the process, and Denas was trying to protect the kingdom, but the portal had to be shut down, that's why at the end of Vengeance Vez'nan says "Always ignoring my warnings" (cause he lived in the castle) and now it makes sense why in the first game, with more power now he wanted to take the castle, and let's remember when we defeat Vez'nan at the gate of the castle, we actually stop fighting him, in the mountains we fight his retreating forces and the trolls who lived there, that's why the trolls help you now, we take the battle to his tower, are we the bad guys then?

Guys I don't know where to comment but here... I was thinking a little bit and came up to an idea. On heroic and iron challenge the stage map should be in fire all around like in the teaser trailer. It would look so awesome like we conquered everything and destroyed everything. Can you like this comment so it gets to Chris and maybe even Ironhide game studio

In the first game vez'nan is the bad guy no doubts but in this one he didn't care about capturing the kingdom he wanted to get to the portal that under the castle that portal must be so powerful even denas afraid of using it.

1.The True hero for me is still denas 2.Shat'ra took the red gem but pretty sure the alien we saw wasn't shat'ra so there must be something else 3.I think that portal is really dangerous and powerful, even more powerful than the gem of liniera and even denas scared to do something that must be the reason vez'nan wanted you know only thing vez'nan wants is power

hawk moon ive just completed the main campagin and there doesnt seem to be additional levels. Hopefully they will add that in the future.

The game is starting, so don't expect to have a lot of content, still the game looks like will add 2 more heroes/villians, hopefully an endless mode with the 3 environments, more missions and a second campaign (In the map there are some buildings of KR:Frontiers).

I got to Denas's Castle and won on normal mode, but a lot of the heroes and towers were still not unlocked, and there are some other new areas on the map that seem to have appeared after the "final battle". Is this a joke? Did I do something wrong? If I had gotten 3 stars on all of the battles, would it have unlocked all the heroes and towers? I feel like I might have done everything wrong, even though I "beat the game."

@martin You didn't do anything wrong. The other towers/heroes unlock on the "post win" missions. The approach makes some thematic sense: go to the frozen wasteland to unlock and ice dragon; fight the sea creatures to unlock the sea creature hero and tower, etc.

@@shyresearcher I posted this after level 16 . I didn't know that there are 25 levels, which means that you aren't even 2/3 done with the game after the so-called "final battle." I unlocked all the heroes and towers by the time I got to level 25.
