Again a pretty hard and fast edit (and no commentary sorry Peter) but another glimpse of the abundance of fun on our doorstep. This was at 7:30am and overcast. Can't wait to get shots on a clear day. At this stage I'm just "dropping" the camera in the water with a float and lanyard. Will get a better system happening for that too.Location about 8km North of Shoe Island. Do check out • Alderman Islands Kingf... Note the fish going for the (home made) assist hook rather than the (Kilwell Broken Arrow) jig.

They don’t really seem too interested ? What’s the jig meant to replicate ?

The jig is supposed to emulate a wounded fish trying to escape. Kingfish “inhale” their prey. When they realise it is metal they spit it out and are caught by the assist hook.

I think he would get them kingfish more interested if doing fast jigging. This knife type jigs are designed for fast jigging.

Pada 56 detik? Ya, kemungkinan besar ubur-ubur, atau semacamnya. At 56 seconds? Yes, most likely a jellyfish, or something like that.

these fish are yellowtail... common in California southern waters. Not even a kingfish..

Phil Duncan Similar fish, similar name. These are called Yellowtail Kingfish in the southern hemisphere where they are found.........
