kerry! Kerry!! KERRY!!! I have seen several Kingfisher in pastel videos here on KZfaq and yours is, by far, the BEST! This pastel painting is Awesome and Beautiful! I actually communicated with you a couple of years ago, asking you to please make more videos and you responded that you did not have a lot of time for making videos as you were very busy working a second job, etc. Well, I am so pleased that you are now able to produce such wonderful and very much appreciated videos. Please, please, please make more!!!

Perhaps in the future, you could offer some online classes or Patreon tutorials or even write a pastel painting book, demonstrating your marvelous technique!!

You mentioned that you use your ipad for your reference photo. I am trying to do this but the ipad keeps going dark and has to be restarted with a logon. Can you tell me how you set the ipad to stay on? I am enjoying watching you work very much.

Hi there, thank you for your comment - truly appreciated. Regarding your ipad - go into settings, tap on Display & Brightness, then tap auto-lock and choose the length of time you want your display to stay on for. I have mine set to 15 minutes. Hope that helps. xXx

Hi Kerry I have never seen anyone using Cretacolor, other than the black in their paintings. How are they compared to Carbothello and Pitt? Okay, you just answered my question

Hi there, the Cretacolor pastel pencils are wonderful, a little softer than the Pitts but not quite as soft as the Carbothellos xXx
