I found these King runes a while ago and I've been using them as my main production printer this is just a video talking about that and updating you on my experience with the kp3s.

I found the K3PS a couple months ago and man, these things are absolute work horses... Definitely would recommend Octofarm for your setup, if you haven't considered it already. Streamlines all the octoprints into one (Saves me a couple hours a month just with managing printers). Also worth noting with the K3PS : Stepper drivers are removable (Super awesome since it allows for drop-ins of other drivers like the 2130 or 2209) And the K3PS control board has a dedicated BLTouch slot, which definitely has its own market of people (Like me who always wants more from my printers)... I think a accurate representation of these things is I had 2 working printers and needed to make 100 parts (30 minute print per part) in under 36 hours, so I had almost no room for failed prints, and the Kingroon worked flawlessly with no failed prints and parts that were perfect in tolerance...

i bought the K3PS thanks to your page, saw how many you had which meant you REALLY liked them. i am beyond pleased with my purchase. barely any maintenance and it prints good if not better than its competition.

I bought a kp3 a week ago and a day later I bought another one. They do the trick pretty nice. XYZ test cube 20.08 + - .04 on PLA after it cooled. Farming is appealing.

Just brought one, I love it.

Just bought one to replace an old Monoprice Mini, the fact that several people are using these inexpensive printers in print farms speaks volumes.

I've got 2 that I've modded and really like them except for the factory firmware. Both printing with .6nozzle @ 150mm/s with 2000mms/s acceleration and jerk value of 10 and they print quite well. Both have rails on all 3 axis, volcano heat block and nozzle, hotend carriage that accommodates 4020 fan for hotend and better part cooling ducts, pei plate. Once everything finishes get here, I'm putting a 115w chc, cht nozzle and adapter, bmg extruder, mks pi with 3.5" touchscreen for klipper, 60mm nema17 for the y-axis and a 48mm for the x-axis, good belts and tensioners on x&y axis. Right now I'm limited by the y-axis skipping steps @ or above 200mm/s with current accel/jerk values.

is there any more info on the kp5s? their website has the kp5L and kp5M but they look just like an original ender 3 without any of the things you mentioned.

If you are making money with prints like these then definitely more power to you. I'm still trying to find ways to monetize my printer that I invested 500 and countless hours into.

So, do you run klipper on any of these. Also, do you ever print ABS with any of these? Supposedly it is able to, but I have not found anyone who has done so.
@3DPrintsEverything Жыл бұрын
I have few times but avoid abs like the plauge, I dont currently but have setup one machine with it and will switch others in the future.
@zk_6312 Жыл бұрын
@@3DPrintsEverything Yes, I do as well because of the fumes, but I am looking for a good reliable budget printer that can print ABS and PLA to put out in my garage since with my Micro Swiss all metal hotend on my Ender 3 Pro I can no longer print PLA without it clogging. This looks like a good machine though I am not a fan of the display or the propriatary firmware. I wish it was running Marlin.

You cited only a single zscrew on the ender, but the kingroon only has a single z screw.
@3DPrintsEverything2 жыл бұрын
The kp3s yes only has one but this is advantage because the build plate is smaller slightly. at the 220mm size the arm and length is heavy enough you need a 2nd support and ideally a 2nd lead screw.
@tazanteflight86702 жыл бұрын
@@3DPrintsEverything Then cite the larger size of the e3pro makes it worse. A single z screw ... is a single z screw. You cant call the e3pro bad for having a single zscrew, if your comparison has a single zscrew. This is math, not my opinion.
@Trashalchemy2 жыл бұрын
@@tazanteflight8670 Cantilever printers can only have one Z drive by definition. The ender on the other hand should absolutely have a z drive on both posts.
@tazanteflight86702 жыл бұрын
@@Trashalchemy The ender3pro makes 100% perfect prints with 1 zscrew,....... if you dont zhop. zhop is useless with 3d printing, anyways.

I don't use octoprint because it bypasses thermal runaway protection.

is that still the case or did they add it? I know they have updated it a lot.

Sorry, but calling a HDMI connector for this particular application cool is just plain idiotic. You need a locking, vibration-resistant connector with strain relief, NOT HDMI/USB or whatever other popular connector that is misused for this purpose nowadays. There is a reason why cheap manufacturers usually hotglue the shit out of JST XH/PH when used on printers
