What's coming to Kings Island in 2020? Could it be a Giga coaster? That's what we're predicting. We created Hellion, the worlds tallest, fastest, most intense Giga coaster. This coaster would be placed in the former Firehawk and Dinosaurs Alive! land area and wrap around Racer. The theming and station are heavily inspired by Son of Beast's Outpost 5 theme. The giant helix turn around was also inspired by the giant Son of Beast helix. The entrance booth at the front of the queue was inspired by the entrance to Firehawk. Thanks for watching!

*Correction: This coaster would not quite be the longest in the world. That honor would remain with Steel Dragon 2000 located at Nagashima Spa Land in Japan. This would be considered the longest B&M Giga coaster or the longest steel coaster in America.

I love watching this video, very unique concept! Did you use the ‘4M’ Smoothing method, it looks great! I LOVE the ‘Tribute Helix’, what kind of g’s is it pulling on that element? I just wish there were 1-2 more ejector or even floater hills in the second half, and I would take away the smaller hammerhead or turn-around near the end and replace it with a tight treble-clef (way more intense and keeps with the lateral-aspect of the ride)! Do you guys live in Ohio? I feel like we share a Ohioan-bond (even though I’m in FL now)! Keep up the good work!✌🏼

I cant believe so many people expected Kings Island to do something like this. Something bigger than Fury would be the most expensive coaster cedar fair has every done. Only universal if they wanted to has the capital to break Fury's records.

I kinda feel like when the Giga does open, that it’ll be longer than The Beast. That ride has held the record for 40 years now, and why not break a record that you already own? Anyways, good creation. Only problem is that it needs to be a bit more smooth. Planet Coaster isn’t the best game to try to make super smooth coasters, but still. Everything else is pretty much perfect. Layout is awesome. Logo and name are both great. Placement in the park is perfect. Presentation is literally done to perfection. Great coaster and I can’t wait for the actual coaster to open soon!

Kings island is my home park and I’ve ridden valravn and gatekeeper so I think it be cool if Kings island did something like carowinds and cedar point and get a coaster that goes over or below a renovated entrance plus I’d really love to see a wing coaster here

I think this is one of the better KI gigas. It uses a unique name and concept, and it’s layout has Fury elements to it as well as some original elements to top it off. I would love for the name to be Hellion. Overall I’ll give a 9.5/10.

Nice concept. Personally I don't like Yellow, but i feel something that stands out would be good for their skyline. I like that your station resembles the SoB station. I doubt they would remove Vortex (a 48" height requirement) for a giga with a 54" height requirement. Part of your coaster (what appears to be a "rose bowl" similar to beast and SoB) is in the land that Vortex currently occupies (near windseeker).

Excellent work guys! I like this because it seems to blend the graceful B&M transitions with more intense Intamin-esque twists and turns. I wouldn't be surprised at all if the King's Island giga breaks the length record (at least for steel) in America!

Fire Hawk Fanboy 1999 But there’s a reason B&M has never put an inversion on a giga... it’s just not very plausible with the insane speed and forces of giga coasters. RMC will likely be the first people to invert a giga coaster, and even that is probably 5-10 years away

While Hellion would be a cool name for a coaster it still reminds me of the 80's metal band. Hellion the band was not all that great but Hellion the coaster concept looks quite epic. Party on Dudes!

Thanks! I considered more airtime hills after the helix but instead chose to keep it lower to the ground to take advantage of the wooded terrain. You can never have to many airtime hills though!

Daniel 'Pancake' Paczak Adam did an amazing job. On top of the helix, he tried adding the first Inversion on a Giga, with a vertical loop, but Planet Coaster wouldn’t allow it.

Great job. This is the best concept. However if it is a a B&M GIGA,it look like an upscale Fury 325 and a classic B&M L-shape layout. But it has been a hit.

nice. But.. I don't think they will have the entrance in that area. if they reuse the SOB's station.. they wouldn't move the whole station. I feel like it will start where SOB did, and travel out into that area by the racer most likely more of an out and back coaster maybe along the lines of Fury.

My intention was not to reuse the current existing station, but instead build a new station heavily influenced by the Son of Beast station. I could definitely see them using the original station where it is and have the coaster run out along Racer like you're saying though. Thanks for watching!

You know what would be cool is if at the top of the lift hill when you crest the top they have an alert alarm sound kinda like this (kzfaq.info/get/bejne/fNWIatmVmJbeoWw.html) kinda like how Banshee has the scream at the top of the lift and how Mystic Timbers has that truck sound or whatever sound it makes when it crests the top.

I really find B&M hyper/giga coasters mostly "meh." There are some good ones, but they don't thrill me the way Intamin, Arrow, or Morgan coasters do. I prefer B&M inverts.

The video looks great, but I feel like you were actually playing the coaster too safe, and you could have afforded to be a bit more aggressive. This is surprising given that you’re not huge fans of Fury. You could argue that Fury’s layout is more intense than this. Best part of this is definitely the section right after the helix. -@gp_pov

I took inspiration from both Leviathan and Fury. I could have went more airtime heavy because that's what I prefer on coasters but I wanted to make something that was not too similar to Diamondback and also took more advantage of the wooded terrain.

The Chain Lift Totally get not wanting to duplicate Diamondback. For me, Fury has made Intimidator a throwaway ride when I’m at Carowinds, but it’s different enough that some weirdos like you might still prefer Intimidator. I just think you could’ve gone further with that idea with some of the quicker transitions and higher bankings like Fury has. I’m nitpicking, though. This would be a Top-5 ride for me.

I have a feeling the actual KI giga will, in fact, make Fury a much less impressive ride. If Leviathan was trying their hand at a giga, and Fury was their perfection of the giga, then there’s no telling what kind of innovation we might see in 2020...

Only to people in Ohio, the folks in Charlotte or that part of the country won't care too much. (Just talking from the business perspective). They're making Carowinds a flagship park. There's even talk of moving the HQ from Cedar Point to Charlotte as well. Carowinds is going to continue to get A LOT of love over the next decade.

This design wouldn't work. The helix takes place in the area occupied by Vortex and part of the Beast.

There actually is a large plot of unused land between the back of Vortex and The Beast where I placed the helix. If you look at Kings Island on Google Earth you'll be able to see this plot of land I'm talking about. Thanks for watching our video and thanks for the comment!

Rytoon 18 Knowing that I wanted the name to have a connection to SoB without using the word beast in the name, I looked up synonyms for the word Beast which led me to Hellion. The definition of Hellion seemed appropriate as well. Hellion: a rowdy, mischievous, or troublemaking person, especially a child.

I think the color scheme looks amazing. The layouts pretty good, but I am not a huge fan of the massive helix, even though the real one will probably have a helix. I personally think the Giga will travel towards the banshee side of the park because they are building condos back there, and it would be kind of weird to leave the condos that far away from the park without there being something occupying the space between it and the park.

@@TheChainLift You have to go to game settings and disable track limits in order to put a loop on the Giga Model, but you have to it before you build the coaster.

I would make it like the beast but taller faster and more tunnels wooden roller costers much better. Sorry but besides the hill on the steel coaster u created rest of it looks boring to me.we want somthing different that one just looks like just another steel coaster.make us a giga wooden and post it would like to see it and some tunnels would nice too.
