You could have made it very clear that Illyrians were not Slavs, and the most likely descendants of Illyrians were our neighbors the Albanians. Serbs are made of different haplogroups, just like Albanians and other Balkan Peninsula countries. There have been many waves of populations from Southeast (Turkey) and Northeast(Ukraine). Probably due to "greener pastures". So, Yugoslavia/Illyria is exactly that, Turkic and Slavic people mix. There are some I2 subroups that have been in the region for some 40k years. Funny thing is some I2 may speak Albanian and some Serbo-Croatian. So, its important to understand population migrations from a scientific view and not a nationalistic one.

Albanian language itself is a surviving paleo Balkanic language that got heavily latinized but still survived and make its own branch of the indo European family tree. If Albanian is not directly descendants of Illyrian it is for sure closely related to Illyrian or another paleo Balkan language, wish you pointed that out a little

It could be prior to Proto-Greeks, but it might as well be after Proto-Greeks.
