@@BleiteTV I'm not sure about 4k120p. You have to check what bandwidth this codec has. It might be the case that 4k120 requires CFExpress Type A.

I've written mine 6-10 times already (I lost count). Zero problems. But now it seems that CFexpress Type A got cheaper, and you can get 512GB cheaper than this one :o

I think I got Kingston microSD card, which already outlived my 3 phones.

A jakie są prawdziwe realne wartości prędkości przy zgrywaniu karty na dysk przez dobry czytnik ? Czy zbliża się do prędkości 300 ? Jak zachowuje się przy wyższej temp w body lub czytniku ? Czy grzeje się na tyle że zaczyna zwalniać i nie trzyma żadnych parametrów...

@@lukasgrygierczyk Przez dołączony z kartą czytnik 285MB/s. Nigdy nie doświadczyłem spowolnienie. Nagrywam w kodeku XAVC S-I 4K, najdłużej bez przerwy nagrywałem przez 1h30m. Nawet nie było ostrzeżenia że body ma podwyższoną temperaturę ... oczywiście otwieram ekran.

Własnie kupiłem drugą taką kartę i tak ... na dwóch bez problemu nagrywa z maksymalnym bitrate :D. Największy minus tych kart, to że 256GB w najlepszym kodeku 25p wystarcza na 2h i 12 minut :D.

Do you know what are the bitrates for these modes you listed? (Unfortunately I do not own A7S3 to check). We can confirm it based on the bitrates.

@@JoATTech around 200-280 Mbps. Do you think it can handle it?

@@markfriday I've recorded few hours of 10bit 4:2:2 XAVC S-I 25p onto it which is 250Mbps. For test just recorded 2 minutes of 10bit 4:2:2 XAVC S-I 50p which is 500Mbps, and it worked flawlessly. It can record also 60p with 600Mbps (but my camera is set to PAL, so I do not have this option). For S&Q in XAVC S-I 4k A7IV says it needs CFExpress card. For XAVC S LGOP this card is fine. Check this out: www.alphashooters.com/cameras/sony-a7iv/memory-cards/ Manual for A7S3 says for S&Q with 4k S-I CFExpress is also mandatory. For L-GOP is not. So if you really mean XAVC S 4k (not S-I) then this card works both for 120fps and 240fps which is HD.

@@JoATTech thank you so much for your input! One more question! Do you think this brand is reliable? I'm just scared it might potentially corrupt files easily? I don't know, maybe I'm just skeptical because of the cheaper price tag compared to Extreme Pro V90s.

@@markfriday I think it is, that's why I got their card. They give lifetime warranty on the card (I know there are always caveats). And actually Kingston is well known brand making SSD drives, memory and SD cards. They are never performance leaders, but they seems the best in terms of prices to features ratio.

As I mentioned it all works fine. Even 4k60 XAVS S-I 4:2:2 which is 600Mbps is totally fine. Which means this card is also good for A7S3 since 600Mbps is the fastest bitrate it records (also 4k60p). For 120fps A7S3 uses 280Mbps bitrate. Never tried recording more than 5 minutes of 50/60p footage, since I mostly record 25p. But it should be fine if the screen is open (in terms of overheating).

No. I have only 1 shutdown of A74, but I haven't even owned this card then. And my temp limit hasn't been set to high. Then when I set it to high i've only seen high temp earning once. Zero shutdowns. But i record with screen open and in most cases in s35 mode. Often times to atomos. Although never seen high temp warning while recording to this card. Do you got overheating issues while recording video or while shooting photos too?

You got an answer on your screen when switching to S&Q mode. For 120FPS S&Q you need CFexpress type A card VPG200 or faster. Lately there are new players on CFexpress A cards market so you are not limited to Sony Tough anymore. Angelbird have "cheap" 1TB option here, although it's quite hard to get as I can see. Not sure about other brands though. So return this one and get CFexpress Type A for S&Q modes.

@@JoATTech Actually I fixed it. It was giving me errors even to have a v60 or higher in certain modes even some hd 1080p settings which I knew wasn’t right. I found some random person on a forum that said if you switch the card to slot 2 then prioritize recording there everything works. And sure enough it did! Even when I switched back to slot 1 and put the recording back to there. Now I can do the S-I 4k 60 and s&q 120fps at 24rec in hd which before it gave me a message that I needed higher than v90 but clearly that’s not the case.

@@JoATTech Thanks for the response though. I also saw a lot of other people on forums having the same issue not being able to record 4k 60 or s&q modes or even some hd. But once switched to slot 2 and changed recording there everything worked fine even when switching back to slot 1. Best bang for buck v90 😎 don’t know why it was faking it’s capabilities at first but happy I fixed it.
