K I'm going to break down the small and subtle errors with this video from a translation perspective. Hopefully if some budding producer or writer decides to repeat this, you'll be able to avoid the mistakes: 1) 0:23 - The guy says "Jebote" which is basically saying "Oh Fuck". The subtitle is missing and I feel like non-native speakers are missing out here. 2) 0:55 - They're saying "Nasli smo ga" which literally translates to "We found him" NOT "We got him". 3) 1:02 - The guy is saying "Nasli smo ga u kuci" but he makes a mistake and it sounds funny. It's like he said "Nasli smo ga u guci". The translation should have been written as "We found him in the house" and then he follo 4) 1:03 - The guy finishes by saying "Tu iza coska" which means "there behind the corner" but this is mistranslated as "in a shop" which is just plain wrong. 5) 1:08 - Mashkov's character says "To nije on" which translates to "That isn't him" not "It's not him" 6) 1:10 - Perfect translation. 7) 1:14 - "Ovo tetovirano to je iz logora iz Gornova Vakuf" although reasonably well translated should actually be "This tatooed is from a prisoner camp from Gorni Vakuf". Logor is actually a term used for concentration camps or labor camps and not used as a term for prisons. In addition Kashkov's character should have said "Vakufa" not "Vakuf" at the tail end of his sentence. 8) 1:19 - "Glupo!" - no one would say something like that. It's literally "Stupid!". A more reasonable thing to say would be "Ne seri!" which means "Don't bullshit" 9) 1:21 - Perfect translation 10) 1:31 - Mashkov's character says "Obukovao je njihovu uniformu" which is "He's put on their uniform". Mashkov (a native Russian speaker) also mispronounces the words as "Abukovao je nihovu uniformu" which just is not the right way to pronounce that sentence. 11) 1:48 - Almost perfect translation: "Ako im se javio preko radia, Amerikanci ce poslati spasioce. Nemamo mnogo vremena". Should have been subbed as "I've he's called them over the radio, the Americans will send rescuers. We don't have much time" 12) 1:55 - "Mozda imamo" it's correct but the pronounciation is a bit off. The word "Mozda" - "Maybe" seemed a bit rushed. I have no idea why I just wrote all of this.

There's only one Russian actor here - Vladimir Mashkov. He portrays Serbian tracker and sniper Sasha.

Serbian language is kinda strange...and the swat movement of the soldiers is so much more strange because there was no such thing in the JNA training. But the faces of actors portraying Serbs are just spot on.
