Kinpurnie Hill is one of the most famous hills of the sidlaw range in south east perthshire and is classified as a Marilyn. My 7 year old son wanted to take on this hill as part of his preparation for doing Munro's with his dad, me. As i fully expected, he smashed it and loved his wee adventure. His story is the same as many young boys at his age, he is very fit but finds it hard going when he needs to push into second gear, i'm sure many parents know what i'm talking about there. He has finally managed to turn negatives into positives and now understands that the hard work put into anything is the reward itself, plus the views and chocolate at the top.
