I've had 2 tractors without cabs, one in a very cold WI climate, and one in a very hot and humid KY climate. I'll never go back to an open station... just sayin'.... You are much more productive in a cab because weather can only limit you so much... (you can't change wet ground, but you can work in Cold, heat and humidity). And Yes the tires are loaded, to me that is a 'must do.' thanks.

Wow and that has enough power to pull? Now do you limit where you drive for hills or long hauls? I'm asking because I have a 2017 ls xr4145 tractor that weighs bout the same and looking for a truck to haul with.

yes, the ecoboost is sick with power. I have the 'max' tow package though which is their toughest/heaviest suspension package to handle up to 11,300 lbs. But Ford is the only half ton that can tow this kind of weight. Otherwise you'll need a 2500 series. Good luck!

Man, it's been a few years now, I think like 500 ish hours maybe? The only issue I recall was I broke the loader cable, and they fixed it under warranty. I now have a Kioti RX7320, it's a beast. Good luck

@@kapperoutdoors how is the 7320 holding up? Have you put a lot of hours on it yet? I mainly just run a 6’ cutter so the 7320 would be overkill but it would be nice to have a bigger tractor.

FARMALLL666 I did look at the Case when I got the Deere and the Case did not have the options available at the time that I was looking for. If I recall correct, the Case was only a shuttle for the cab model I was looking at..

It sounds like a decent price for sure. With more hours maybe less on the price, but I don't think you'd go wrong with that setup. I'd price the exact same model and bush hog new and see what the new cost would be too. Hard to find a really solid 40+ hp for 20k anymore these days. But I'd offer him 17,500 just to see if there's any room left to barter. Best of luck. .

Thanks! I actually had an old 8n I think...? It was a 1952 and it was quite dangerous.... I had on OLD bush hog that came with it and it broke off and sent the deck flying up towards me in the operators seat.. Luckily I heard it right away and shut it down... The blade was still spinning because somehow it stayed attached!! Be careful on them old machines :).
