However this eventually lead to Bruce Dickinson feeling like he wasn't contributing enough, so Steve agreed for Bruce to write a lot of the lyrics for the Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son album, which is my absolute favourite by them. @@bothellkenmore Yes, same down here at [scream for me] Long Beach arena. Then 4-5 months later they played Irvine with Accept and W.A.S.P.! Two of the best shows I've ever seen. P.S. '85.

Yeah it looks like my show was Dec 1984. I remember smuggling the camera lens in for my new friend and journalism classmate in high school, he smuggled in the SLR body so he could shoot pics. Back then there were 2 lines to enter, body frisk or metal detector so we went frisk which was basically a visual. He got some great pics, hope you're doing well David M wherever u are!

Yes on the number of the beast the drummer was Clive Burr, he passed away from an illness and he had to leave iron maiden because the touring was to much for him and he really wanted to go home so they were forced to let him go, before he died iron maiden invited Clive to come on tour with them in his wheelchair and got to go on stage with them, they remained friends their entire life's even after Clive went home and never played with them again. I saw an interview and Iron Maiden cried for Clive and I cried myself, Clive said it was a dream come true during the time he was with them.

The lyrics and the art go hand in hand with the music. Eddie makes a great action figure. Haha.

Iron Maiden truly excels at storytelling, especially with their more historically inspired songs. Run to the Hills, Aces High, Passchendaele, Alexander the Great, The Clansman, and many others that really make me feel I was there seeing it firsthand! Maiden and Sabaton have introduced me to some of the most epic and tragic moments of so many countries!

I presume that that's live from the Hammersmith Apollo? Legendary venue. The best of the best all wanted/want to perform there.

Yes, then a warm welcome to the family. :) That was IMHO by far your best video so far. I really would want more from Maiden. In all honesty, you've only scratched the surface so far. There are so many good Maiden songs and so few bad ones. Of course, like all the others, I could make suggestions to you, "The Sign Of The Cross" but what's the point? "The Talisman" I just let myself be surprised by "The Book of Souls" and hope for the next video with Maiden in it. ^^ Nice greetings from Germany. :)

Up The Irons!!! Looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow. Me and a few buds drove for 10 hours in a PoS 64 valiant to see the The Beast of the Road Tour in 82. The four of us were so sore from the drive that we were afraid we'd have trouble standing but a little self medication and a good sleep in our hotel and we were all good to go. Watching Bruce in person less then 20 feet from you is something you never forget... he's a vocal god. Also went to The World Slavery Tour in 84, same damn car, the Somewhere on Tour in 87 and honestly wish I could have caught more but wife, kids work and such always got in the way, lol.
