I have NOTHING but respect for UGA, that was a great series (even though we lost both games). Hope we meet again in the playoffs (though we probably won't make it now)

Coley almost lost the game for us, when he suddenly turned to Chaney... trying not to lose.

We have to figure out special teams, especially punting. Everyone blaming Coley for our conservitive offense, but it's Kirby who is in charge. Same thing with sacks, Kirby plays coverage and doesn't rush. I'm glad we won, but we have bigger holes than I thought we did.

So right about the crowd, the timeouts and Georgia being "fresher" than ND at the end. Wanted it to end the other way, but still a great game. Kirby said this is what college football is all about.

Our biggest problem is with unrealistic expectations from fans,media etc.need to just be thankful for every win regardless of impossible expectations

Fans don't normally get stats in a game but the Georgia fans earned FOUR of the six false starts and cost Notre Dame FOUR time outs. I've had season tickets for over 30 years and that was the loudest I have ever heard at Sanford Stadium. As to the game, seemed like when Georgia blocked the man across from them and went hat-on-hat, they manhandled the Notre Dame defensive line but when Georgia tried to pull or trap, the Notre Dame defensive line scraped and beat blocks and ran circles around the Georgia blockers. An Instant Classic.

Remember where we went the last time we played notre dame ? We only won that game by 1..

I'm glad we didn't lose because scary azz fans would be blaming lost on kirby and staff all wearing black shirts. It's a shame that the university along with majority of the fan base are afraid of the nice black jerseys do to a beat down Alabama put on us 12 years ago. That tells me that Alabama is in our heads and will always be until we own the black jerseys and go out and put a whipping on somebody. The fear is so strong against the black jerseys that we wont even where them at night vs inferior opponents.

Kirby needs to step up in big games this is year 3 now damn...

Still waiting for our offense to run more tempo, we do much better in those situations. Still waiting for the mid to deep pass game to open up...it's getting close, we will need Jake and the receivers to ball out. Go Dawgs!

I wouldn’t call the playcalling bad just really safe, you can tell Kirby is still trying to figure out which WR’s he can trust out in space with the ball. People need to stop with the excuses like my Bulldogs were off , we always have at least one bad game nonsense . The fact is ND did an amazing job with preparation and scouting and they came to play, they executed the plan brilliantly for most of the game and the effort was there , that's why it was so close . I'm thrilled at that effort despite coming up short . Home Field advantage was a huge factor but in the end the more talented team won and that is the way it usually goes when there is one team with a definitive talent advantage . An outstanding effort by both teams and both deserve a ton of credit , I look at it like a classic UFC fight where one guy comes up short but both get "Fight of the night" bonuses .

The strength of UGA offense is 1. O-line, 2. RB's, 3. Fromm's arm. No reason to exceed 20 pass attempts. Keep rushing, wear teams down & win.

In 2017, Georgia came to South Bend. I was there (Georgia came back and won it). The crowd was rocking that night... mainly because Irish "fans" had sold their tickets which were gobbled up by Georgia fans. It was a sea of red. Shameful. I'm a lifelong Golden Domer, but I can admit this: Notre Dame does not have a home field advantage.

Yes,we won.Barely. Thanks to the fans, We were outplayed,plain and simple,and lucky to get out with a win. UGA has to improve with strong teams as this sad display proves.Biggest line in SEC,still cannot get creases for best backs in SEC, Plays called were predictable; I know a win is a win.
