OSU fan here and wow what a game. That game was the national championship in my opinion. Two top teams in the country absolutely battling it out. All of last year I wanted this matchup bc I knew it would be a very entertaining game. Good Luck UGA

Why is the sports media slobbering over OSU like they were Villanova beating Georgetown in 1985? Last time I checked, UGA was only favored by six, OSU had only lost one game, and they had a Heisman candidate QB. This game was always going to be close. Harrison is the best WR in college and the UGA pass rush isn't close to what it was last year. Props to UGA for a great comeback. Props to OSU for playing great

I think most Ga. Fans knew going into this game Ohio would most likely be the toughest game of the playoffs, not taking away from Michigan or TCU., TCU played a good game against Michigan. But they will have to play the best game of their college careers to beat the Dogs.

TCU will not be a pushover. They are going to chunk the ball down field and that was one of the things giving the dawgs a fit last night. They have got to be ready for that with TCU. In a 1 point game, with so many “could have, would have, should have” moments, it comes down to who can make a few plays. You win in the 4th quarter and Georgia made some critical plays that allowed it to stay in the game. At the beginning of the year a lot of people were hoping to see these two teams play each other. This was better that I was hoping for and early on, I could see Ohio State put its pride on the line and was ready. Other than the OT game and the Clemson-Alabama game, this may be the best playoff game I have had the privilege of watching.

Alabama or Tennessee should’ve been in this playoff, it’s easy to say that afterward but as a bama fan who’s biased I knew it always. Ohio state should’ve won this game and TCU shouldn’t have been in the natty obviously, Michigan either. Alabama or Tennessee could’ve gave Georgia or Ohio state a good game at least. The whole point is to have the 4 best teams and that didn’t happen last year, if you get a 50-60 to 7 championship game, you failed at picking teams. That said, you can’t undermine what Kirby has done at Georgia, he’s a beast. I love that guy and Georgia is playing hard nosed dominant football, they can easily 3 peat with that weak schedule they have this year, that doesn’t matter though, you must win the post season against good teams as long as the committee gets it (right) lol

To me it was a toss up. Both teams were neck-to-neck fighting it out and in the end it came down to a long kick, of which the outcome is like a coin toss. There really should be one more match between the 2 to determine the real victor, just as in boxing.

My synopsis as an Ohio State fan is that Ohio state had a lot of things to improve and they improve everything they played the best game that I ever seen Ohio State play in a long time. If Ohio state would have made the field goal I know they didn't but they were a field goal away from being in the national championship they had Georgia on the ropes the entire game being up at one time by 14 points. Ohio state was so good that game they make Georgia look not so good for a number one team to go undefeated and be last year's National Champion Ohio State exposed them that's how I look at that

The refs gave Georgia the game with two calls. 1) The 4th down run that was clearly out of bounds with a foot to go , then ESPN cut screens to commercials and when we are back it's 1st and 10 for Georgia? WT ACTUAL F? 2) THE BULLshot timeout call literally after the ball is snapped on OSU's fake punt. So good job Georgia , thank your referees.
