The book features a very hungry caterpillar who eats the very hungry caterpillar way through a wide variety of foodstuffs before pupating and emerging as a butterfly. The winner of many children's literature awards and at the very hungry caterpillar rap battle major graphic design award. it has sold almost 50 million copies worldwide. It has been described as having sold the very hungry caterpillar rap battle the equivalent of a copy per minute since its publication, and as "one of the greatest childhood classics of all time". it was voted the number two children's picture book in the very hungry caterpillar rap battle 2012 survey of School Library Journal readers.

No. Kirby's original name was Popopo, but the West localized it to Kirby, and Sakurai liked it so much that he made it the character's official name.

i thought azia was physically incapable of losing a rap battle, due to her flow that always goes so fast that the songwriters have to prepare lyrics fitted to her style, but god damn! caterpillar wins. he outdid the flow, out-bragged, and even if he had less high-power disses than kirby, he still completely wiped with everything else. snakebite is actually rap god (real)

They are extremely good but the bars arent deeper than erb, the flows be crazier here but lloyd and peter place every lyric more articulate than freshly and have more entendres and consistant. Fresh has great lyrics, better beats (I guess) and better flows tho. But they do need more views fs. They to good

The Very Hungry Caterpillar is a book I grew up reading so seeing this rap battle where the caterpillar absolutely rocked the mic put a smile to my face. Also, nice touch on turning the caterpillar to a butterfly at the end.

My favourite bar in this is when at the end of Kirby's 1st verse that he could just step on the catapillar to kill him and then at the end of the catapillar's 2nd verse it goes 'the lifecycle for Kirby has reached a full stop... This battle has a little bit of everything: great animation, catchy as hell, and especially a VERY unique character that I never expected would be in a rap battle. The British narrator intro/outro was just the icing on the cake 😃😃 good job to all involved

Nah, it wasn’t one-sided. Kirby delivered some very strong lines, and his flow was great. I do agree the Caterpillar won this by a lot tho, his first verse just went way too hard for Kirby to come back

This is epic singing! I noticed that there is the inclusion of many fun facts about Kirby that are not common knowledge, so I know that the lyrics were carefully decided. I also wasn't expecting so much of a spotlight on a character like the very hungry caterpillar, so that's much appreciated too.

Dude, Freshy Kanal makes some of the most creative match-ups for rap battles. Minecraft vs LBP, Big Mac vs Little Mac, Harley Quinn vs Monika... and now Kirby vs The Hungry Little Catipillar? Even in straightforward match-ups like Peter vs Homer, they not only go hard for no reason, they're just well done.

this rap battle was definitely the last thing I expected to wake up to but holy shit it's so fun, glad to see Azia and Snakebite back in one of these videos I genuinely rlly enjoy just how much energy they put into their voice acting... I have a memory of Eric Karl being my elementary school spanish teacher's favorite author and I guess for good reason.. edit: forgot to mention this but god the animation for this battle is honestly adorable style-wise, I love it soooo much, so much creds to RobotRichie he killed it with this I can only imagine how long it must've taken to put this together
