I really appreciate your insight on testing track limits, the problem is Gran Turismo's penalty enforcement system is just too inconsistent. I've ran almost these exact same lines you are and on my end its been just that. Consistently Inconsistent. Even other drivers they don't get penalties testing these limits and when I do the same thing. BAM! Penalty. I've just been staying on the rumble strip/curb stones either half way on or 3 quarters on it just so I don't have to deal with these penalties. Because you're right my friend, one mistake here at Red Bull can ruin your entire race completely.

So here is my bro science tip: If you mess up, let off the gas or do slight braking, shift down and you can avoid a pen. (shifting down seems to be the essential part) I heard about this many moons ago and it worked in t1 for me.

Awesome! As usual with your guides 🙂 I mentioned in a post you made a while ago, felt maybe relevant to this video too. The way I think of track limits - the white line isn't uniform in width. The kerb Widnes the white line. It's ok to ride the white line, just try not to cross it. Would be great if we could see the track limits, on the radar in the MFD. Even if it's only in practice. I'd like that very much.

Judging by the penalties I get, the track limit at RBR T1 seems to follow the curve of the racing line rather than the straight line of the curb/sausage.

P.D need to make it, 4 tyres over the white line is a pen on every track, that way we know & its consistent , i hate the way it is atm , u have to abuse the track limits to be fast , sometimes u have to have 4 tyres in the dirt & sideways drifting to be the fastest which isnt racing in my book

I really hope this isn’t just me. But in Nonza I swear I’ll take the turns exactly the same amount as the fastest drivers I’ve seen so it, and get no penalty, but if do it I rack up 1.5 seconds for doing the same thing. Like what is the difference between penalty and no penalty for those times like one fucking pixel?

Ppl literally goes all 4 wheel over the WHITE lines This track makes sense Atlanta etc doesnt

I think you refer to the entry of the chicane at road Atlanta and in order to be safe your right wheels must be on the curb and not beyond that. In the exit just use all the curb, the grass will be your track limit. For daytona right wheels on the curb at the entry and for the exit your LEFT wheel must not touch the grass. You can go on the grey area just dont touch the grass. As an A+ driver mastering those has helped a lot and you must find these limits yourself, try to do that on other tracks.

Im a very logic based person and this makes no sense to me 😅🤷🏻♂️ i always try to cross 2 wheels max and being 2sec slower cause of that on such tracks where other aloud to cut white lines with all 4 wheels.. like how one should know where u can do that where u cant ?

@@MrDRE01 i agree but you cant do anything about that just pick if you want to lose but stay with two wheels on track or win like everyone does. To know when this happens just commit through the corners and when you get a penalty think why was i given that penalty and you will know

Hate things with no logic... 😅😅🤭 especially when i know for a fact that sometimes it gives the penalty sometimes it doesnt depending in how much you pressed ur accelerator while cuting the line 🙃 this is pure game error
