Thanks for the great feedback. That was always my plan, to show people slowly what is going on, when I want to learn something I don't want to see how good someone can play it, I want to learn it.

Try this: over a Blues with 3 Dominant 7 chords, take the 5 CAGED chords and make them all Dominant 7; take the 5 Minor Pentatonic boxes and add in 3 as another note; only ever go UP from b3 to 3. Eventually also add in 2-b5-6 for this: 1-2-b3/3-4-b5-5-6-b7 which is Mixolydian combined with the Blues scale. Finally, add in b2-b6-7 as part of chromatic lines. Now you can use all 12 notes, in all 5 positions, over any Dominant 7 chord. - It took me a long time to figure out this! -

Yes you can play anything you want, as long as your destination note is relevant and on time, took this from Josh Smith a long time ago 🙂 maybe I'll convert that interview into a video one day. Cheers for the feedback.
