Pardon me for saying this but I was nearly in fuckin tears with this beautiful version of what was already the BC anthem ,not only do you sing so beautifully but you certainly have the hands of your father to make that guitar sing . Stuarts heart must be bursting with pride because you are doing him proud ,,, massively

I am a single father of a 16 year old girl. And a dad who is struggling too. With things that Stuart Adamson struggled with and feeling very much the same things he felt. Hearing this and seeing the heart of it. Helps. Somehow it helps.

Beautiful rendition. I can see your father's expression in your face. Big Country was so important to me when I was a teenager (and still.) There is a powerful vein of understanding and empathy running through the lyrics of Big Country songs that are truly beacons of light showing us how to be good humans. Glad to see you carrying on the family tradition.

I totally agree with what Dave Clough said . For some reason out of the blue i decided to search for a song i vaguely remember from my childhood when i watched sum pop music show every evening after school . All i remembered is a riff and the words Look Away Look Away . Sure enough i found it and im so glad . I listened to it about three times in a row . Ive always loved In A Big Country . Didnt know the fate of your father until i rediscovered Look away . Sad for the loss . He left a dam good legacy though . Music and an amazing daughter amongst other things im sure .
