she's killing it!

Well from the little bit that I know of sailing I know the Cape George from what I've heard is a very capable blue water vessel. She's heavy with a large draft and beam, full keel and heavy displacement and she's known to be a comfortable fast boat to sail and a very sturdy boat.. inspired by the work of William Ackin built in Port Townsend in the pnw very capable shipyard in Washington State. I've heard most of them require a fair amount of work to them due to rot but other than that they are excellent cruisers.
