Mujhe to aap ka yeh post bahut achha laga. Pura program dekhe. Ek hi jaga miss hain woh hain stage show. Jis me undoubtedly kishore da " king" the. There is no doubt that no one can match the Versatality & high pitch & softness of Rafee saab. Rafee saab was asked to sing a song for Kishore Daa when he was in a movie Ragini. when I listen to Rafi Sahib, I say there is no one and there will be no singer like him ever. When I listen to Kishore Sahib, I say he is the best ever. Now, I think they both were the best and there would never be anyone like them and comparing the two is very unfair, they were the two BEST with unbelievable different voices (Diamond Voices).

फिल्मी गायको को तीन तरह की ट्रेनिंग होती है। शास्त्रीय, voice culture और फिल्मी गायकी। किशोरदा को शास्त्रीय ट्रेनिंग नही थी मगर उनकी voice culture सब से बेहतर थी और वो तरह तरह की आवाज आसानी से निकाल सकते थे, और फिल्मी गायकी भी रफ़ी साहिब जितनी ही अद्भुत! दोनो सब से बेहतरीन male singers रहे! जुग जुग जियो रफ़ी साहिब और किशोर दा।

Kishorda bhale hi classically trained nahi the, magar unki voice training sab se behtareen thi. Unki aawaz mei kucch khubiyan this jo KISI mei nahi thi: Deep voice Kharaj, bulandi, yodelling, bharpur aur gazab ka dard, superbly controlled vibrato, har Tarah ki aawazein nikaalna, best comedy songs, shashtriya gaano ko bina koi training aasani se Gaana ( God Given Gift), range ( decided by how many octaves are covered: अति मंद्र से ऊंचा तार) almost 3 + octaves and just like Rafi sahib, sabhi hero ke liye aawaz match Karna aur har Tarah ke gaane Gaana. Rafi sahib aur Kishore da, dono mei apani apani khubiyan rahi aur dono sab se behtareen male singers rage aur dono ko koti koti pranaam aur sab se ooncha salaam!!

He had a very soulful malleable voice which he used in a very creative way to suit the lips of actors belonging to different generations and genres. No singer experimented on style of singing the way he did. He brought life, thrill, romance, agony and ecstasy and wide of gamuts of human emotions through his astronomical vocal renditions . Rafi was a classical trained singer, with unmatched popularity - be it, Kishore, Lata or anyone, he reigned supreme. Santosh, you're totally incorrect in saying Kishore's voice suited every actor. Indeed, it was Rafi's voice that fitted hand in glove with every actor. There's absolutely no comparison to Rafi's superiority. Do listen to Mannadey, when he puts himself as #2 behind Rafi, while ALL others were way below them. Anyways, it your opinion but public sentiments, universally tilt in Rafi's favor. बहुत शानदार और निष्पक्ष विडिओ और अवलोकन है आपका ,ये दोनो कलाकार अद्भुत और आद्वितिय है ,हम खुशनसीब हैं कि हमें इन दोनो का संगीत एक साथ सुनने को मिला ,हमें इन दोनो की तुलना ना कर के इनकी महान कला का आनन्द उठाना चाहिए। मैं तो मानता हूं कि किसी भी गायक के लिए रफी जी बन पाना अत्यंत दुष्कर है जब कि किशोर दा बन पाना तो असंभव है,क्योंकि कठोर साधना से रफी तो बना जा सकता है पर किशोर बना पाना तो सिर्फ ईश्वर के हाथ में ही है ।

RAfi Saab created his own style. KishoreDa, albeit brilliant playback, was a continuation of Saigal Saab. RAfi Saab voice was velvet and had a kanak that’s never been heard before.

The host is absolutely correct. How can you compare an Apple with an Orange or Physics with Chemistry. Just imagine any one of them not to have stepped into the world of Music. It would have been a curse for this planet and especially for us Indians. We are proud to have singers like Md Rafi, Kishore Kumar, Manna Dey, Mukesh , Hemant Kumar and others. किशोर दा - एक ऐसे महान फनकार जिन्होंने कभी भी किसी से सिंगिंग की ट्रेनिंग नही ली थी, लेकिन इसके बावजूद वो अपने दौर में टॉप पर रहे , सबसे ज्यादा 8 बार बेस्ट प्लेबैक सिंगर अवॉर्ड, और सबसे ज्यादा 28 बार नॉमिनेटेड , अब बताओ कौन सर्वश्रेष्ठ था , सच तो यही है कि , किशोर दा जैसा फनकार इस धरती पे दोबारा पैदा होना मुश्किल ही नहीं नामुमकिन है , मिस यू दादा....🥲🥲🥲

Fan's Type are basically different, of Kishore Da & Md. Rafi. Kishore Da's innovativeness in style , Voice so deep & soothing & Masculinity appeals his Fans. Kishore Da gave his innovative inputs. Moreover Kishore Da's approach to a song was very unique like in film " Sharabi" Inteha ho gayi 🎶song , He asked for a big table & laid on it like as if really drunk & sang, moreover He added His own + in music composition, which was very much liked. " Yeh jivan hai,🎶🎶🎶He sang entire song keeping his chin on his Palm,& difference was startling. Kishore Da's Fan liked this extra differences , innovative approaches , Yodelling🎵 boldness of voice etc. Rafi Sahab too a great legend & His fan likes His Sweet voice a texture of Muslin, very polished voice , with great range from classical to kawali.

People who have commented below have given their personal opinions about Rafi Saab and Kishore Da, which is ok. However, If you look at the history of Hindi film music, Rafi Saab was always way ahead of all his contemporaries. Except R.D. Burman, all music Directors like Madan Mohan, Ravi, Naushad, Shankar- Jaikishan, S D Burmsn, Lakshmikant Pyarelal, Kalyanjil Anandji, Roshan etc have used Rafi Saab for a majority of their compositions. Kishore Da shot into prominence because the phenomenon - Rajesh Khanna wanted to create a new trend and have a 'voice' for himself. With the downfall of Rajesh Khanna, Rafi was once again supreme- from 'Teri Galiyon me rakhenge Kadam' , Laila Majhnu, AAA etc.
