2 of my favorite bands from my teens. I'm one of the fortunate souls to have seen the original SWEET live in 1978. They kicked ASS! Desolation Boulevard (US version) will always be one my all-time favorite albums.

Ouch! This one was really tough. I really love both albums. I had it 5 to 5.

I'm seeing SWEET in Toronto next month on a bill with BTO (headliner), UB-40, Chilliwack and The Box In 1974, SWEET Desolation Blvd introduced me to guitar rock, bye-bye Elton & Billy Joel and piano driven songs. A b-side for one of the Desolation Blvd tracks (either Fox or Ballroom) was the heavy AF kick-ass "Burn on the Flame". That song made me want to be a guitar player. But I'd say it was a close tie between Ace and Joe Perry as who really inspired teenage me.

I love Kiss!..especially the first 3 albums,.have to say Sweet Desolation Blvd is a 13 out of 10!…Brilliant.X

New subscriber. DTK is probably my favorite KISS album. I love the dry production on that album and the songwriting is KISS at their best, IMO. I’m not that familiar with the Sweet album besides Ballroom Blitz and Fox on the Run. You gave me something new to listen to. Thanks.

These two great albums are both classics in my opinion, however for me its Dressed to Kill first, love it. But both great.!! Amazing listening, completely forgot about Sweet till just now, thanks mate.!!🇦🇺

Love Kiss, but Dressed to Kill was never my fave (save for Rock Bottom, She & Cmon and love me) BUT I LOVE THE SWEET ALBUM.... 1. Ballroom Blitz 2. Six-teens 3. No you don't 4. AC-DC 5. “Dressed to Kill” is Kiss’ best sounding album as far as their instruments go. The drums sounded incredible. It’s too bad they couldn’t continue on with that sound. The drums always sounded weak in the other albums.

Love both albums but dressed to kill a little better but both good bang bang pizza skullz
