Well Jackie, you might just have something there! These days, 'The Kids', 'The Millennials', 'The ... Whatever Other Euphemisms' that people wanna attach, ... Goths, Emos, Gen-Ys, - Whatever's, etc, etc.) - don't really seem to know if they're coming or going. Once upon a time, the likes of me, used to "Feel The Need For Speed!", but now I just think things are changing just way too fast for everyone's own good. Question is, just WHERE do we go to find "A Reality Check" These days?!~😳 It's sometimes hard to know what to think for the best!(🤔) However, that said, I think, somewhere in his book "Face The Music", Paul even he concedes, that they (KISS) got a little too Hair Metal-'Camp' for their own good, and perhaps even shudder themselves, as they look back at the early to mid 80s. So ... as you can see from their "Revenge" Album ('92) cover, they're trying to look Grittier & Heavier than ever, in an attempt, to leave behind, the Hair Metal fraternity that they seemed to have stumbled into, back in the 80s; - although, I think by about '87s "Crazy Nights", they were pretty much, back to just being themselves, again! (Some say "Asylum" was, average, but for me in that 80's Glam-Revisited stage of Kiss sans make-up, - this was, in fact, the strongest of "The Triplets". [The other two or 'that Trio', - being "Lick It Up", and "Animalise"] ). "Asylum" in my opinion was 'All Killer-No Filler' !! And whilst still in make-up, "Creatures Of The Night" comes close to that, also. Kudos to Gene in this Video, for remaining 'Unpasteled'-!!😄

I can remember when KISS was getting hit with a resurgence from the younger fans, Paul had talked about a 13 year old girl that had got up and sang this particular song, all the way through. He couldn't believe it, one because she was 13! Two, the band hadn't been doing well as far as album sales were concerned. So the band decided to take advantage of the situation and had gatherings where the fans could come out and meet the band, Peter Criss and Ace were asked to get in on it, and Eric Singer and Bruce Kulick being the great sports said yeah let's have a reunion happen. And the rest is KISStory. It was really magical seeing the originals and the newer blood playing together on songs, Bruce doesn't get nearly enough credit for helping to get the band back up during the late 80s into the 90s. Eric Singer also doesn't get his due credit either, but for many fans it's always been Paul, Gene, Peter, and Ace. All the others to many were just basically spare tires until the "true band" could be healed, but as we have seen, there's too much bad blood and also too much mistrust between them to allow another final reunion in what should have been the biggest, baddest, and best shows ever for their final tour.

Every band today borrows something from other bands today!!! All need to understand that KISS had already done HAIR band when it wasn't cool!! They were keeping shit going til they could get the originals back!! KISS is the ultimate band that has been successful through the thick and thin of things! I say this with no disrespect to the guys that got them through the hard times! They are great by their own accord! NOTHING beats the originals and I respect them even more for their defense of the ones that helped them through the absence Peter Criss and Ace Frehley!!!!!! And they should be added to the Rock-N-Roll Hall of Fame with the Original band members if not already added!!!!!!!!!!!!! This comes from someone that Dontgivetwo Schitz!!!!!
