So ... as you can see from their "Revenge" Album ('92) cover, they're trying to look Grittier & Heavier than ever, in an attempt, to leave behind, the Hair Metal fraternity that they seemed to have stumbled into, back in the 80s; - although, I think by about '87s "Crazy Nights", they were pretty much, back to just being themselves, again! (Some say "Asylum" was, average, but for me in that 80's Glam-Revisited stage of Kiss sans make-up, - this was, in fact, the strongest of "The Triplets". [The other two or 'that Trio', - being "Lick It Up", and "Animalise"] ). "Asylum" in my opinion was 'All Killer-No Filler' !! And whilst still in make-up, "Creatures Of The Night" comes close to that, also. Kudos to Gene in this Video, for remaining 'Unpasteled'-!!😄

They were keeping shit going til they could get the originals back!! KISS is the ultimate band that has been successful through the thick and thin of things! NOTHING beats the originals and I respect them even more for their defense of the ones that helped them through the absence Peter Criss and Ace Frehley!!!!!!
