The Dark Marshall to Black Numenorian Marshall conversion looks dope. The rest of the B.Numenorians is great as well, but I already told you that. Really like the colour scheme, they look like they've fallen to evil not that long ago.

These conversion and proxy videos are great! Also love that you show the options with cheaper models, not ones twice the price, 3d printed or hard to find

Beautiful army, thank you for sharing. My personal favourite was the first conversions you did. I love all those kits you showed, got some of them myself and planning to get a few more. They are so versatile.

This is fricking brilliant. I hate not being original but this just blows my mind. Wow!!!

I think they came out quite nice. The Perry Miniature Bodies sometimes feel a little too thin for MESBG, but you made them work well. One thing that I would love to see in future videos is a shot of the entire Army (all models) in one play (after showing them on the rotating bit). I always feel that an army and the paint jobs come together even better if everything is assembled.

I did some Black Numenoreans by using Morannon orcs for the heavily armoured base body, with Perry foot knight heads, swords and arms. I also gave them all 3D printed cloaks. They look alright!

The old army of the dead king was my favorite. I converted a black Numenorian from a Dolguldor Castalin. Gave him a Uruk-Hai jawline. Looked alright!

This is great timing, with the upcoming battlehosts I'm planning on getting the Mordor one so I can make a silly warg rider focused list (I already own 6 + the Shadow Lord) and I'm planning on using Black Numenoreans as frontline infantry. Never been the biggest fan of the models GW made for them so I'm looking to convert and this is a great inspiration. My current plan is to take the regular Numenoreans, shave off all insignias and change their helmets to look more like the leather caps they wear in the Battle for Middle Earth II expansion.

I did not use the GW Black Numenoreans either. I used some medieval figures and painted them with darker colors.

I have Black Dragon miniatures from the Conan board game. I think they are are perfect and intimidating. Black and red armor. They are also slightly taller 28mm making them look boss.

this has inspired me to kitbash some morgul knights and warriors of the dead. the game is usually played at 600 points so id only have 6 black numenoreans and 3 morgul knights (im using the mouth of sauron as the marshal, to represent his past self) so im kind of limited but oh well, i like the design of these too much

Awesome thank you for a great deal of inspiration, as always with your conversions, I especially like the antler helmet. I was just doing some black num conversions today so it's a perfect timing. I've managed to make 5 from warriors of the dead (swords only) by doing some headswaps and adding some spikey bits to the helmet and armour. Using the same paint scheme as my morgul knights they already look believable enough as dismounted knights. As it happens I got my mouth of sauron like 15years ago and ended up with just the mounted version (I shared the foot model with a friend) so I still need to make a fitting dismounted model. Any tips? Also would love to see some more video's on proxies or simple but much needed wargear conversions(for example high elves with shield, archers with Spears, moria goblins too)

The conversion work is just insane. I do wish there had been a bit more mixing and matching between kits, it kinda fel like you were just combining two at a time rather than using bits from all 5. And while I understand that you’re just sticking with your Sauron paint scheme, these “black” Numenoreans sure have a lot of white. Regardless,awesome video

For black Numenoreans, because I really don't like the use of plate armor in the movies for Gondor, and because they're derived from the same stock as Gondor, I mainly use WGA late Romans for that lovely maille body. Then a headswap and the red eye on the shield and they're sound for Corsairs.

Awesome conversions! I really love your creativity. The black numenoreans look awesome. One thing I would critisise is that the broken shields make no sense at all. Why should the elite of Sauron fight with broken equipment? :D I mean they weir the best chainmail and plate armour but then broken shields haha. The shield at the back thing is a practical conversion thing, thats clear. Still freaking cool project and i love your color sceme with red and white also. From a competetive standpoint black nums are on of the best troops in the game, 9p are to cheap. I played 16 tournaments so far and black nums are always in my barad dur and mordor army. Sure thing black nums alone with sauron are a bit slow. Saurons 18 inch magic and the marsh of the black marshall helps with skirmish and races to the objective. In combat are black nums tough to charge and to kill. Saurons can kill everything. Just shield with the black nums, let your heroes do the killing.

Love the work you've done here. Unfortunately, I don't actually like the models Games Workshop made for the Black Numenoreans; they look too warhammer fantasy to me. My favourite are the variants with the iron skull masks, as they look similar to the ones from rise of the Witch King, and are also trying to hide their old identities.
