Kit-Play is a micro-architecture that fits into public spaces that have existing infrastructure in the heart of several neighborhoods. The device is stored in a trailer, which is deployed in different places. The micro architecture is pulled by electric bikes.
Through the repurposing of sports, this event enables the inhabitants to participate in their own Olympic games by reinventing the equipment and creating new rules of play. The micro-architecture invites the user to share a new physical activity thanks to the detour of the sports equipment.
Kit-Play is mainly composed of boxes and wooden panels, assembled with a simple and quick system, avoiding drilling. Once the event is over, all the materials will be reusable.
The mini-fan zone invites the inhabitants to build the event because the construction requires no tools. The Kit-Play device proposes different sports, an exhibition space dedicated to highlighting the local artists as well as a radio space that can broadcast live coverage of the Olympic Games.
Kit-Play is a micro-architecture that enhances the practice of sports in an eco-friendly approach by reusing all the materials of the event.
