महाभारत एक 'अंगलकाव्य'हैं not well said by devdutt ji because जिस काव्य में स्वयं ही श्रीमद्भवगतगीता है वो कैसे अमंगल हो सकता है 🤔

The epics are not just stories written to depict values and morality but true incidents recorded for inspiring humans to think and do karma, it is not just stories or myths with hidden interpretations and intentions but again true incident. The Mahabharata and Ramayana are two greatest epic written but filled with knowledge a and wisdom. It also shows us how advanced warfare system and technological was in India 5000 years ago also.🙏🏾🕉🇮🇳

The anchor is not letting Devdutt speak. He is intervening too much.

How wrong is the interpretation. The Mahabharata is a civil war and not against external aggression. Devdutt Pattanaik has essentially extracted any sacredness that was attached to the great epics.

as always, Kitab is a Gem of a program and this episode like earlier ones was enlightening. We thank Indian Government for coming out with programs like this one, which private TV channels would not do it. Cannot get a better conductor than Purshottam Agarwalji!

At the end of discussion Sri Devadathji concludes Mahabharata epic is a diversity. Yes it is the characterisation of different personalities. It is the exhibition of different characteristics we could find in this world. By creating diverse personalities each one is attributed with one specific characterstic. By narrating different stories it teaches how to get over certain definite situation successfully. The person who reads Mahabharata keenly will undergo different stages at different sections of epic. It would be difficult for the reader to come to a conclusion on any one personality because the characterisation by the author Sri Veda Vyasa is as such in the epic it becomes difficult to judge who is correct and who is wrong. Knowing this the Author made a digest called Bhagavath Geetha where in he places the reader in the domain of Arjuna and advice the reader to be himself, to do the duties assigned to him and leave the results to God Almighty. In the present day generation of our country we may find nearly 1.25 billion different diversities which had been reflected in this great epic.
