I know this video is a few years old, but what a gorgeous, majestic little creature! Snow Leopards are endangered now, so it's a rare treat to see a cub. It's such an encouraging sign the Snow Leopards can successfully breed in captivity. I hope Kitai is doing well now! 😍💖

I want to know is "snow leopard " same as "clouded leopard / Neofelis nebulosa" in Southeast Asia?? I wonder their spots is "SNOW" in your eyes, but "CLOUD" in tropical area?? 雪豹是東南亞所謂的雲豹嗎？他們的斑點，對你們來說像是雪，對熱帶的東南亞卻像是雲朵？？

Different species but their habitats overlap. Or do you men the term in different languages? That I don't know. A snep is a snep and a clep is a clep.

They're different cat species.. Snow Leopard's (panthera uncia) are despite the name, more related to the tiger (panthera Tigris) than their relatives in name in Africa (panthera pardus) Cleps (neofelis nebulosa) are somewhere from a later branch in the evolutionary tree, but I'm not sure about their genetic relationship to the family of big cats..

Its a cub bud... Every cub has a different personality, and just cuz they hiss a bit and dont want to get picked up doesnt mean anything. Kittens will even hiss at their mom sometimes when the mom tries to pick them up.. Its normal
