They still have their little moments but their disagreements are more sibling like now and I love it ❤️ You can still see they care for each other

I can’t be the only one who finds it so adorable how Kitana actually cares for Mileena, when in the original Timeline they hate each other and Kitana can’t stand Mileena. It shows how much Liu wanted to give everyone a happy life or prevent corruption. They all disliked Mileena but he gave her a home, a family and a chance to live a normal life where Sindel and Kitana actually give a fuck about Mileena while keeping Tanya as her lover

I love what they did with certain characters giving them actual value reptile actually feels like an interesting character now. Kitana being the voice of reasoning trying to aid her sister and protect her is sweet.

It makes me happy too. I keep replaying the “Careful, Sister” because if you go back to MKX, MK9 and MK11 they hate each other and it’s sweet to see in MK1 that Kitana calls her sister and Sindel loves Mileena and gives her a purpose with her being the next Empress and Kitana helping her. It shows that Liu payed attention and gave Mileena a happy life

I love Ashrah so much. Her story being a demon wanting better for herself. It's so cool to get a better understanding from these characters backstories. She's definitely one of my favrorites now, next to Mileena.

I like the jab that Liu Kang 'kind of' takes at Raiden when he speaks to young Raiden - "I would never send my champions unwittingly into Mortal Kombat." Well Raiden was somewhat responsible for his one of his deaths, and the Deadly Alliance for another.

I friggin love that Reptile got so much respect in this game. He not only gets a lot of characterization and wins a few fights, he gets to beat up SHAO KAHN. The last part could be more of a sign of how much nrs hates Shao Kahn, but I will take the reptile W!

Its funny how Liu Kang still slips up and talks about the past timelines. Also I'm really glad to see Reptile getting a story chapter! I hope he has a good ending! He deserves it after all he's been through. Also I wish Mileena would see Kitana's actions more as caring for her well-being and looking towards her better purpose than that she's trying to make her look bad and take her spot...

I'm really finding it hard with the new universe, as much as it's awesome to see Mileena and Kitana love each other, I just keep telling myself these aren't the sisters we grew up with, I want the real ones to love each other 😂 just like a couple of other things that happen later in the story, which I won't spoil but yeah can't decide if I love the new universe or hate it 😂
