Having been created as a clone to replace her, Kitana has a deep hatred for her sister Mileena who despite being similar in looks, is completely different in everything else. While the first is the descendant of Edenian Royalty, the second is the outcome of Shang Tsung's magic that used Tarkatan blood and human elements to create her.

Kitana believed for 10,000 years that Shao Kahn was her father. He then reveals that he never cared for her, drove her mother to suicide, destroyed her realm, cloned her without consent to make a replacement and then ordered her execution. Mileena, despite wanting to be a "family" with Kitana, is intensely loyal to Shao Kahn as her "father" despite the pain he has caused Kitana. Additionally, Mileena is cannibalistic and enjoys sadisticly tormenting others. Even in her "wholesome" mk11 ending with her daughter, Mileena has some poor victim strung upside down as she feeds parts of him to her child. She's demented. Why do people seem confused as to why Kitana hates Mileena? She's got every reason in the world to.

Which is why i can't stand Mileena fans!!!! They only make her seem to be the victim in the whole situation when they both are victims. Why is kitana feelings always pushed aside because she doesn't want anything to do with her family.

Holy hell so on point. Even I, who wants to see the two characters be able to come to some sort of peaceful terms with each other, understand full well that Kitana has every reason to be outraged towards Mileena's existence. You add Shao's reveal that Mileena was created to have a more "worthy" daughter for him alongside the fact of Mileena's bloodlust and love for sadism, along with her loyalty to Shao, and it becomes easy to see why Kitana despises her completely and would rather see her gone for good in this timeline. Kitana is clearly the more wounded party here, Mileena's feelings over being seen as an abomination and just wanting a family be damned.

Yes I really want them to be a duo, maybe one day we could see see an alternate timeline or reboot where they fight alongside eachother (maybe including jade) But also yeah Kitana does come off rude to Mileena but remember, Mileena is there to be a replacement for Kitana, and if I were to be replaced by a doppelganger that looks like me, I wouldn't let that slide either tbh 💀 Plus it's not like Mileena really likes Kitana too (she's playful with her calling her dear sister, wants to do "play dates" and such but it's all just a tease)

Th point of the arcade ending is that it comes with the ability to change time to THEIR will, hence their ending is told with THIER PERSEPCTIVE AND BIAS. What I'm getting at is, this is the perfect life that Mileena envisions for herself because she IGNORES all the red flags of Tanya. Tanya may love Mileena, but she also LOVES HERSELF first. Tanya is loyal to Tanya.

@@HRPNX-vl4uu Agreed plus the MKX prequel comics revealed that when prior to Kotal's rebellion against her Milleena as Empress of Outworld was just as wicked of a tyrant as Shao Kahn including unjustly executing people who say "something she doesn't like" regardless if it concerns Outworld politics or not, wanting to try and conquer Earthrealm like Shao Khan, forced Li Mei, Bo Rai Cho, and many other innocent Outworlders to escape to Earthrealm as refugees due to her cruel. inhumane, and sadistic methods. So if anything Kotal Khan and Kitana were better rulers then her and Shao Kahn.

Kitana's out and out hatred for Mileena, despite her having no part in her own origins, is the main reason why I don't like her as a character. In 9 Mileena was deranged, with the mind of a child looking for approval. If Kitana had treated her with just a little kindness, perhaps her story would have been different.

Kitana made a big mistake by rejecting Mileena as her sister. If she accepted Mileena as her sister back in MK9, Kitana would not get killed by her mother Sindel and become a revenant and Mileena would not get killed by D'vorah in MKX.

Also they canonly only interacted one time thru 9-11 timeline so why should kitana feel obligated to keep trying to save someone who she met once and didn't see in 20 years.

Its so funny how yall hate Kitana for not liking Mileena and not wanting to be family with her when they barely know/interacted with each other since the mk9 reboot. Why is Mileena not considered selfish who is actively asking kitana to become family with the same person who lied to her whole entire upbringing and brainwashed her memeories to forget that her mother committed suicide and her father being murdered by the same man who made a clone of her. Also why is kitana hated for not liking her when the people mileena does love just uses her for their own gain and betray her. Why is kitana more hated then shao kahn who doesn't care about mileena, but just needed a heir and replacement, Sindel who also needed a replacement and manipulates her, Rain who also betrayed and used her, Tanya who lied and betrayed her, Reiko who betrayed her, Kotal Kahn and Many more characters who knew her and stayed by her side for 20 years (after most of the kombatants were dead) just for all of them to betray her. yall mad at kitana for not wanting to be sisters with her, but not mad at the people who PRETENDED to care for her....yeah right.

If you notice that, then all the MK characters hate Milena :) even her family, who uses her. According to Shao Kahn before the fight with Kitana. And that's right. Milena from the old chronology had a hatred for Kitana due to the fact that her older sister was always better than her. But instead of striving to be the same and gain respect, Milena chose another way - to kill Kitana. milena herself is to blame that she turned all the characters, even her servants, against herself, and it's right that Milena will no longer be distributed and liquidated with each part. Kitana has done this many times. Kitana>milena D'Vorah>milena 🤙🤙🤙 It's fact milena's fans 😁

If my Clone is actively asking me to become family with the same man who killed my father brainwashed my mother and forced her to marry him which led her to commit suicide and took over my home than made a clone of me without my consent and now said clone is Selfishly asking me to become family with that same man who still wants me dead after 20 years i would be more than harsh. Oh lets not forget my said clone and i only spoke one time in that those 20 years which we have no reason to be family since we don't know each other.
