It's a good idea to have the lids on the glass ones. I found when I tried to stack my glass storage containers without the lids on them they would chip.

Omg, storing our Tupperware containers with the lids on was the best thing we ever did and it was my hubby that suggested that. Total game changer 🙌 We had a corner cupboard and a couple of weird cupboards at the first home we built too🤣 I’m glad we eliminated them in our second home. Love your videos💕💕

Such a great declutter/organization for a beautiful space! I like to keep empty drawers and shelves throughout my home as a reminder to purge an item for every new item brought in. This helps me to keep everything from becoming cluttered mess again!

If an appliance has a LOT Of gadgets that go with it - keep them together in clear plastic bag and label it. You can also put a label on individual items.

She has a beautiful kitchen! We have the skinny cabinet for the baking sheets as well. It’s so tall that there is so much wasted space so my husband put a shelf in the middle doubling what I can put in there!

Great timing to reorganize those cabinets! EJ will be digging in the cabinets and drawers before you know it! I also have a stupid corner cabinet like the upper one she has, except ours attaches inside the the neighboring cabinet. It is really useless. Can't wait to re-do our kitchen one day!

I'm glad it works for her. That's the most important. Those blender cups & lids and the KitchenAid: I've seen a lid holder used in a drawer for all the tops and behind them most of the KitchenAid pieces...except the splash guard. The blender cups can stand up in a small basket. That might help somewhat.

I agree about pulling everything out. I know it works for some people. I like Dana K White from A Slob Comes Clean. I just love her method of decluttering because now I never make a mess and can walk away at any moment. It makes a huge difference for me with my anxiety.

Gracyn's kitchen is beautiful! So many cabinets/drawers to work with. I go one cabinet at a time because sometimes that is overwhelming enough. I ended up getting one cabinet cleaned yesterday. Not much but that one cabinet definitely needed it, it's one I've needed to clean out for a while.

It doesn't work with every type of lid, but I store pots and pans with the correct lid on but flipped upside down. Sometimes that lid handle gets stuck in drawers. If you have a tall space, you can also stack pots up on the lids.

Awww, EJ is so cute, but tell him to stop growing up so quickly. 🤗. I don't fear being a grandma after seeing how great it's been in your life. I totally agree that pulling everything out is just too much. Maybe for a bachelor with 2 plates, a cup, 3 shot glasses and some ramen. 🤪. And, omg, ice wanted the slide out shelves in my cabinets. The mechanisms to do it are hideously expensive at Lowe's.

Hi Jodi! My great aunt had more drawers than cabinets as well. She turned her pans on their sides in the drawers (like cutting boards). That way she could see all of them and they were easier to get more of them in the drawer. Lids were placed with handle inside pan. I don't know if that would help you or not.

If you turn the lids upside down on the pans you can stack them.

One way to avoid pulling everything out is to label each drawer and cupboard with what should be there (although it does require preplanning). Then as you declutter each drawer, everything in the wrong place gets immediately moved to the right spot.
