All I need in life is videos of Satoshi talking about trains, maps, or kitchen gadgets. Or Shinichi talking about his Mom's cooking or trying fabulous food or showing us around Japan. Or Justin. There is no sad, mad, or scared that is stronger than that. You three always make my day better. I hope you smile today the way you have made me smile. 🤗

Oh hooray! I love it when you do kitchen gadget videos! They might be my favorite videos of the ones you make. Thank you, Satoshi, for going to Daiso to find these rice gadgets! I also especially like the silicone onigiri maker. For a long time, our local Daiso had silicone sushi mats. They were the same size as the normal bamboo mats, but they were made of silicone and looked like they would work well. Thanks for the great video! See you at the livestream! :-)

These gadget vids of yours are hilarious!! Thank you ever so much for a wonderful saturday afternoon entertainment!! What a show: Shinichi is all reserve and skepticism while Satoshi is all enthusiasm and exuberance - obviously just the perfect combination needed for playing with these (probably lots of time and space consuming) 'indispensable" tools!! All the best to you!!

I found it today and thought it would be good to finally use since I'm planning on making California rolls for July 4th. What a great surprise to have your video pop up in my suggested videos. Thanks for the tip to not pack the mold too full and to leave room for a bit of air in the rolls.

I came across this old video and remembered how much I like the gadget videos. The first musubi one I actually used often. I carry it with me so that I can put my left over rice from my lunch in it. You know how much they serve in plate lunches and bento in Hawaii. I used to keep a musubi maker in my drawer at work before I saw your video. The round musubi gadget came in handy too. The maki sushi maker and plastic mat made a good gift for one my friends. He broke his mother's bamboo mat when he tried to make maki sushi.

Kitchen gadget video! I couldn't click fast enough, LOL. I love it when you guys do gadget videos, they are so funny and fun and this one didn't disappoint. First, I must say how handsome you both looked in your shirts! Loved the color. I loved how excited Satoshi was introducing the gadgets and how unsure Shinichi was; it was so funny. My favorite were gadgets were also the two that you both picked as well as the panda stamp. I can never get my onigiri to look good, they always turn out like lopsided "triangles" so I think the mold/carrier is a great idea for novices like me. Also my attempt at making make sushi was an epic fail so the press would be helpful, too. The panda stamp is just too cute and my daughter would love it....and I do, too, LOL. Thanks for another fun video..and making me jealous of not having a Daiso near me, LOL Love you guys!

I love your gadget videos-you are both so fun to watch!! Shinichi, I knew you would "win" the makizushi challenge-I may be biased because we make ours by hand but I could see the texture of the gadget one was too compressed even before you tried it. The onigiri one was my favorite too but was wondering how would you salt it? I think I'm going to need to go to Daiso soon! Thanks for sharing❤️❤️
@erinuber2881
@erinuber2881 6 жыл бұрын
Kahiau T I was wondering about the salt for the onigiri also! Maybe you can just sprinkle a little salt on the outside of the rice scoop when you are putting it in the mold? The sushi maker can work, as I have tried it. I think just putting in a bit less rice, and pushing down a bit less, solves the problem. Making sushi by hand is not too difficult, but it does take a little practice. I think the mold can be helpful for somebody who wants to make it right away, or who may have a disability or trouble with their hands, etc. Have a great weekend, sister! :-) PS The rice ball maker is fun! I added furikake to mine, and they were fun to eat. :-)

Some people only have $1 for a rolling mat. I have seen people put plastic wrap over the bamboo mat to make Maki Sushi. It's really big but it's a meal on its own! Make kimbap with it and cut it into half-inch slices. I always find a way to make things work instead of complaining. Real life is bad enough without complaining about everything. Some people have disabilities and or can never learn to make a Maki roll we have the same sort of Gadget in the US that looks like two halves of a pipe and people need to make it using that because some of us don't have the dexterity to Rolla sushi on a mat. Thank you for the gadgets!
