We really just have one goal - to make your food life better. Ok that, and be entertained at the same time. And have you learn a few things along the way. So let’s make it 3 goals then.
If you only want the steps to make something, like those vids shot from above with no people, no conversation no nuthin - then we are absolutely not for you. But if you wanna a little fun while you learn, then this is the place.
Cooking doesn’t have to be hard, it just has to be delicious.
-
THANK YOU ❗️

18:40 we LOVE our Wolf Steam Oven. Once you have one you'll never go back.....or at least you'll not be anywhere as thrilled when you do :) The best thing is re-heating food. How about keeping food warm? LOVE it for that. I've cooked 2 full racks of ribs in 1.5hrs and you'd swear they were braised and smoked outside. Truly unbelievable. The gourmet modes are amazing too. LOL at me but the basics....hard boiled eggs or perfectly steamed corn on the cob........21 minutes and viola! You've never had better home made pretzel buns until you've had them out of the Wolf Steam Oven. By far the best appliance we put in our kitchen upon the remodel.

The wife just upgraded how we use gas in our house by running a gas line to a new dryer and to our cook top. After weeks of scouring the website, we chose GE Cafe 5-Burner Gas Cooktop (model CGP9530SLSS) sold at Lowe's at around $1200. Appliances were on sale and I could add my military discount ( 10%) to the sale, Home Depot rarely let's you do that). I can say that we enjoy having choices for burner strengths. Our cooktop comes with 4 different burners. A simmer/sauce burner located back right 5K BTU, an big 20K BTU burner in the center, 12K BTU burner front right and two 9.5K Burners on the left hand side. It also comes with a griddle included. Hands down it has renewed my love of cooking and desire to expand and try new recipes.

Sam! Happy to say I just found you (again) on YT. Loved your "Just Cook This" show from a few years back. Highlights from then: simple meals from items in the fridge with simple techniques. I loved it when you would chide the the other cooking show hosts with all the lame presentation "cookie cutter skills delivery"... 'Now I'm going to pick up a fork. Now I'm going to walk over here. Now I'm going to put it in the bowl. Now I'm going to "give it a quick stir"... God save ME! Yes! I can see all that! Ugh!!! I loved your show! It was brilliant and YOU are a very talented cook. So happy to be able to access you again. I've missed you. Today is a great day!

What is your opinion of induction cook tops? Maybe not good for a restaurant, but I tried one at a friend's and was surprised to see how fast it brought a pot of water to a boil. And it produced no heat, was easy to clean and was installed in a center island. Don't know how much it cost, but for a home kitchen, I think I might choose that and a nice convection oven.

With the fridges you need to think of what you will be putting in it. Side by side freezer does not hold any large items, can't put a frozen pizza, turkey etc. Add in an ice maker and you have a smaller freezer space. Fine for people who don't need to freeze anything large but if you do, don't get one. Same with the tall counter depth, they are narrow and don't take up a lot of space but having had one we had to buy a small freezer because it simply was not big enough.

I've been unemployed for about 4 months now, so any of this is just a dream. But if I had the budget I'd like to have, one thing I would certainly look into for my own kitchen remodel would be base cabinet refrigerated drawers (something not even mentioned in the video) rather than a stand-alone fridge, and a separate wall-mounted oven. The Evo would be a nice choice for an outdoor kitchen, but I'm not sold on the idea of one as my main in-house cook top. But that's me.

First off thank you for your videos . I am addicted. I have a question regarding the "mushroom looking thing,. Does anyone make one that has multiple burners/stations so that you are not using the whole thing and the burners wasting gas when you are only working on one side of the cast iron top? If not why not? I am interested in this unit but feel like it is extremely gas intensive and I would use the entire surface almost never. I do love me some Mongolian bbq though. You should do an episode on Mongolian bbq on that "mushroom looking thing" you have.
