Mine is all down too, and everything has been deep cleaned. Two days of hard work, but it feels GOOD!

Took mine down too. Couldn’t stand it anymore. Cleaned and put back the house. It felt so good. I’m superstitious. You take the tree down before New Years. You don’t bring the old into the new year. Fresh start!

I love videos like this. Taking down Christmas is a huge chore. It’s a lot more exciting to put it up. BTW: You inspired me to get my 1/2 bath redone. It looks great! I had my favorite contractors here for 3 days the week before Christmas. They had to remove old wall paper, and prepare the walls for paint. Got new light fixture, TP holder, and towel bar. Champaign brass. Walls are “Mocha Light”, by Behr. I put that picture of the wreath with the bells and neutral bow over the towel bar. It looks so much better. Thanks, Dana for all your great ideas and hard work. You are amazing. Looking forward to your winter decorating.

I love the Christmas decor but I also love the clean slate when it all gets packed away. 3/4 of my family were sick for Christmas so it still looks like Christmas morning here with lots of gifts under the tree. Love your videos. I love the gingerbread items too. You mentioned possibly even putting some in other areas of your home next year. Since you are great at DIYs I wanted to share an idea I saw. They used a cardboard box and a chalk marker to make a row of various gingerbread houses. It looked so cute on a shelf or mantel. I'm sure windows could be cut out and fairy lights used to illuminate it. Just an idea.😊

Dana, as Beautiful and Festive as your home is for the holiday's your kitchen looks amazing all back to a clean slate. You relaxed me, watching you undecorate. Totally is a real thing with dogs. Theres something about wood flooring or vinyl flooring they just slip and slide and loose their grip they dont like it. And yes, floors get scratched very easily. Rugs are good to have all over. Two things: my dog who is 12 has never liked our shiny white tile kitchen floor so I have put down a runner rug so he can get to his dog bowls. We have to do whatever we can to make them comfortable and not be afraid. Next, I bought my husband a mitir saw for Christmas to do wood working projects and the first thing he plans to make is a shelf for the kitchen with brackets similar to what you have. I wanted a shelf because of your videos and love how you decorate them. My husband ordered some winter prints from Amazon and framed them himself. Hmmmm....wonder where he got that idea? He only glances at the videos I watch but seems like he got the idea from you! Looking forward to the video of how you decorate your shelves for winter. ☃️❄

Undecorating is one of my favorite videos to watch. Halloween and Fall are my favorites, I keep a pumpkin (or 2 😉) out all year bc they make me happy. You might consider leaving one of your gingerbread decor out. Even if it's just a spoon you use for coffee, or a small house. Looking forward to seeing what you do for winter and upcoming months. 😊❤

Hi Dana! Typically, I'd be putting away Christmas themed decor in the next couple of days but I've been working (supposed to have off, but, well you know how that goes!) and I've had to transport a friend who broke her arm back and forth to her parent's house about 40 minutes away so not happening. With the business I also have to start on tax info so that's another hassle. I will keep up winter greenery, but will switch out my pillows and only keep up smaller trees without lights except for one by the fireplace,,.....I just want to see those Christmas lights a little longer. Because my large tree is the last to go up it's the last Christmas decor o come down. Maybe we will get a snow day and I can use that day to get things done! LOL

I watched my grandson today and he loves all the lights , and it was overcast part of the day .. he loves putting them on ., I may start at the end of this week except our tree .,that is up till after New Year’s 🎉.. I have my bins listed by room and some by where it definitely goes.. as in my curio cabinet , there has its own box and label .. , then I have boxes just for my stair railings garland .. . Your kitchen looks great .. . And I will have a clean slate as well before decorating.. I look forward to seeing your winter decor video series .. I love your kitchen rugs .. I need some new ones .. I have a corner sink and I cannot find a rug for that area. So I have one in front of the stove and sliding door in the dine in area . I hope those rugs come in different colors. Hi Dana, you make the chore of taking Christmas Decor down, look so Easy! Talking about Kova freaking out about your hardwood floors. Our dog Luke is a Senior Boy, he's over 11. I bought a New LG stove in March of 2023. it had a Melody Chime when the oven got up to temperature, well Luke was scared to death of the sound he would drool, pant and shake. My husband even put him in the car in the garage until after the Melody would sound, he could still hear it. We were afraid he was going to have a heart attack. I called LG and was on the phone for an hour and we tried everything to disable the alarm, which we couldn't do, so we decided we would sell the LG stove and get a new one. We got a new Whirlpool stove and guess what, it also makes a noise when it gets up to temperature, not quite as bad as the LG, but it still affects Luke. What we go through for the Love of our Dogs!!! Have a Great Day!!!

Hi Dana, Great video. I love how the house always looks when I clean it after the holidays. I leave my Christmas decorations up until January 6th the Three Kings Day. I need to clean good after that. Do you like a side by side refrigerator? I have always wanted one and it might be on my list this year. Wow you sure like to get your Christmas decorations down. I suppose since you do it earlier then normally to get your videos up. You're sick of them by now. Most people take down stuff after Christmas, I'm just the opposite I take mine down in mid-January. I need to find items to leave out for January, February and March. I love watching your videos you motivate me to get off my rump and clean. But I hate to take down Christmas but I guess it has too eventually. Anxious for the next video of Winter.

Oh heck no! I just got rid of the clutter of Christmas presents, packages, name tags and bows. Feeding family and friends. I had to stop your video. I'll revisit this disaster in a few weeks. I LOVE MY UNCLUTERED CHRISTMAS LIFE! The commercialism is over! The cooking is over! Ahhhh! Now it's me time, time to relax with my Christmas!!!!!! Love you, but NO!!! Not yet!

But Christmas doesn't end until the Epiphany on January 6th when the Three Wisemen appear.
