The main thing with boiled eggs is placing them in ripping hot water, and when they're done immediately cooling them in very cold water. You can use ice water but I've found that just turning the faucet on and running them under cold water until they're room temp works fine. The blowing is for show

Just so everyone knows, to get a clean peel of a boiled egg, you need to place it/cook it in ripping hot water, as hot as possible, and cool it immediately in cold water. You can use an ice water bath but I also find continuous cold water under the faucet until it's about room temp works just as well.

There isn't extra avocado inside the pit. You can see where Vector exposed that he filled the pit himself. The egg hack worked though cutting it that way isn't necessary.

Fun fact: if you buy an avacado, chances are the pit's not sterilized. Put it in a glass of water suspended by toothpicks and you can grow your own tree. It's an extremely slow process, though. It takes 6-8 weeks for the roots to start showing through the pit.
