Thanks for the question, I ran a connecting wire from one LED strip to the other by routing it up the front inside corner of the cabinet. I drilled two holes in each cabinet, one at the bottom front corner and one at the top front corner. Same process for the other cabinet back down to the next LED strip. I tacked the wire in place at the ceiling and covered the wire with the crown molding. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the question, I connected two lines of the 5 stranded wire from the RF controller. One went to lights in the video and other wire went underneath the floor in crawlspace to the other side of the kitchen to other cabinet. I made sure to use 18 awg wire since it was a longer run. Normally for shorter distances you can use 22 awg wire. Hope this helps.

@Alvin Thomas, Thanks for your question, at time lapse 6:25, I begin feeding two sets of grey cables to the RF controller. I spliced these two sets of 5 color coded wires together and connected them to the RF controller. The other end of those two cables goes up to each run of LED lights. So, one cable went to one side of the kitchen while the other went to the side where the third cabinet was located. These wires feed the 12v power and each color. The wall controllers (I used two,...one on each side of the kitchen) are simply wired to 120v power, they are not directly wired to the lights. The wall control sends a radio frequency signal to the RF controller to tell it to turn power and whatever color you want on or off. Hope this helps.

@@richofalltrades1 oh ok. So if I have 5 sections I would need to splice/connect 5 sections to the rf controller instead of the two. My electrician already did wiring but at the 5 sections he has a 120v line coming out. So I guess I need to connect to a rf controller to operate at the same color and time correct? My kitchen is completely gutted an open and looking for the best way to have the electrician wire these up. But he's old school and isn't familiar with the rgb led strips. He said he can put a transformer near the box so the lines would be downgraded to the power for led strips. Is there anything I can use in conjunction with the 120v line?

@Alvin Thomas I am not sure if you needed 120v boxes at each light location, not unless you were putting a transformer and a controller at each one. I believe you can use multiple RF controllers with it's own transformer and simply set the controllers to sync up to the wall controllers. There is a zone feature on the wall controllers. You may need to do this because depending on the length of your runs one transformer may not be sufficient. Longer LED run distances will cause more resistance and you might see dimming in the lights at the far end. Here is a resource that used when I was figuring out what I needed to use for my application. They have some good video on how to select transformers and set up a system. I didn't buy their stuff $$$, but they seem pretty knowledgeable. www.environmentallights.com/elibrary/video But you do need 120v boxes for where you want your wall controllers if you use the same ones that I used in the video. You can possibly run all 5 sections into one RF controller I am not sure how that would work and I would speak with the RF controller manufacturer on that before proceeding. Hope this helps.

Yes, there is a constant 14/2 that runs into the grey handy junction box in the cabinet and I connect the driver/transformer to that 14/2 in the box. Then the 12v power from the driver goes to the RF controller. Out from the controller is the RGBW wires that feed the lights strips. The wall switch use another separate 120v power. Wall switch sends signals the RF controller to function the lights. Hope this helps.
