After watching this vid (and others), I reduced the stance on my main 133cm board from 460mm (18.1") to 410mm (16.1"), and went from a lot of duck to almost none. Results: improved boost take-offs, and less load on legs in general. I found it actually gave me less control in chop, now that the chop has a longer lever to bounce me with. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. Anyway, overall it's an improvement, and I'm keeping it this way - thanks!

Measurement depends on. Sometimes stance width is measure from the center of each binding, not the inside or outside of the binding.

Wow, great vid. But...... I decided to heed your advice and check my stance width. I'm 5'10 and 74kg. I ride a Hadlow FS 138. When I measured the narrowest stance width - it was 18"!! I currently use the wide one, which is even bigger.
