@MinE CrafT thats a common misconception. I bet you treat a cat like a dog and expect it to love you. That's not how it works. You treat a cat like you would another stranger human being. You approach it and then introduce yourself by letting it sniff your hand, you have to become friends like you would a stranger by having fun together (playing with a toy with it) but also keep you distance. You have to earn a cats trust and love for it to love you back. My friend actually said cats hated her but then I saw the way she handled them. She would see a cat and just pick it up. You cant do that. I said she should let the cat sniff her hand first and then pet it. And look what happened, the cat let her pet it. No scratches, no hissing.

Sadly, I know someone who has a young cat who has separation anxiety. They adopted an abandoned kitten and he panics if he is alone at any time. He loves all people and he doesn't need to be held at all times, but if he's alone with no people around he panics. He's afraid that he's going to be abandoned again. :-(

Animals that stay with their mothers after birth are prone to this, unfortunately. I had a duck who would just sit next to me all the time and would actually try to follow me wherever I was going, he even tried to get in the car a few times. Eventually, though, we figured out that putting a warm blanket around him, some kind of sound, and giving him a bowl of peas really helped. So, I would recommend experimenting ways to soothe an animal with these issues, or at least to help calm them down a lil. :)

That's not uncommon. How old is the kitty? Is there someone kitty could hang out with? They are used to being raised in litters with their siblings and a mama. I used my daughter's baby doll bed, a bunch of stuffed animals, a hot water bottle, and an old school clock ( for the tick tock, tick tock) wrapped in an old shirt to simulate a heart beat.
