What a incredible experience to have had time with the Ohana in the back of the Valley. At a place named Dragon Fly. It has been a priceless present. That will be a life lasting fond memory, I cherish

I remember sugar cane fields around UH campus in 1950. I was a civil engineer student surveying the campus for my Survey class.

So is the story a prisoner saved the day. When The park services. Had a off Island company. Contracted to widen the trail. Leading up to the falls. The company had a bunch of fancy high tech equipment, with them. And a van full of inmate to do the laborious, manual work. The Con, Now excon, piped up and spoke. And saved the day with a bent 16 penny nail… The trail was widened for those with limited mobility's…

Those that inherited or bought homes here are blessed. 2 mil minimum. I remember playing in the streams in the 80s. Think they said no can now, too poluted.

I'll never forget hiking the trail only to have a chameleon jump from a tree onto my shoulder.

It's also home to the Mansion where U.S. supported Ferdinand and Imelda Marcos lived after killing a prominent Filipino, and stealing all his money and Jewelry.
