Life in the coldest inhabited place on earth is not easy, and even seemingly simple daily tasks, can take a whole day!
Locals dedicate their weekend to doing laundry and washing in their wooden bathhouse, the only option for maintaining personal hygiene in a region without running water.

7:00 I love that the little one is chewing on the dumpling dough, and when she sees that her family have noticed, she offers them the dough that she was eating. I love that babies always do that, it's both generous and silly, like they know that they are enjoying eating this thing and want to share, but don't realize yet that other people don't want to share their partly-chewed food.

I fell in love immediately and forgot about the Caribbean weather. I've always dreamt about being in a place where it's continually snowy and cold...and I think I just found that place. The lifestyle amuses me. It Takes me back to my roots; Doing manual labor for the things we need. It teaches patience, discipline ..and I've realized overall it makes families happier. cold is aclimatisation. Very very resilient and everyone has the responsibility doing each chore. What a wonderful adorable family even the little kid. Because she sees that everyone are moving she also loves to interact. We can see the good values the parents imparted to the kids as they grow up. So blessed to watch them with this kind of weather, wowww it’s truly the grace of God👏👏👏

Wow!! This brought tears to my eyes. No complaining, no sense of frustration, or tension, no feeling entitled. They are just simply living and providing for themselves the same way their ancestors have done for many generations. This earth 🌎 is vast and diverse.

My aunt was born in Yakutsk to parents from Moscow region due to job assignment policies in the USSR. By the time she reached 3 she was still completely bald and had cold/flu several times a year. After multiple requests the officials relocated the family to the Republic of Georgia, which did help to improve her health. I've heard a lot of good things about Yakutia from my grandparents, but it's really hard for a person used to mild climate to live there.

@@Soontobech I'm from southern region of Russia, basically lived my whole live in mediterranean climate (city is located literally on the shore of the sea) and we have only like month of relatively cold temperature for our region (-20 C) along with storm wind(25 meters per second) because of geographical reasons, so I am not total stranger to coldness/bad weather, but after school I moved to Moscow to study in university and believe me I FELT LIKE I WILL DIE FIRST WINTER IN HERE. I am not really used to warm clothes, so most of the time, as force of habbit, I dress in same winter clothes (practically none of them are) like in my hometown and it's horrific to endure. I think I'd actually just die in Yakutia. Also, in my dormitory there are a lot of people from Middle East/Africa and I can't even phantom how hard it must be for them during winter

Wicked respect for those people!! When I moved to TN, I remember meeting an old woman in Chattanooga who never had air conditioning her entire life. I asked her how on Earth someone could stay comfortable, especially at night trying to sleep. She said, I was BORN INTO IT and never knew any different. Wow! I suspect it's the same mentality for these folks.

In England Jack Frost came on cold nights and painted beautiful pictures in ice on the inside of the windows. Wonderful fern like patterns they were. We had eiderdowns which were full of feathers which went over the sheets and wool blankets. Now I still have feathers, but in a duvet instead. I still love to hug my hot water bottle and have converted my OH to loving them as well.

Just when you shake your head and think to yourself there's no way you could do this and live like this in these extreme temps with all this work, you take in the LOVE, the TOGETHERNESS, the TENDERNESS, and the cozy little house, and all you see is a Family. Those dumplings look DIVINE too. Beautiful upload.

People of #Yakutia use the same type of axe on innocent women, children and elderly in #Ukraine today. They torture, murder civilians in their own homes. This is a *curated propaganda video/channel*. Hard to imagine? Look it up yourself! They look so human, so grounded, yet, these are the people (along with savages from #Buryatia) are committing the most satanic, sadistic warcrimes It is an edited, scripted video to manipulate your “Western” opinions of russian while they beat 4 year olds to death! . #WarCriminals #RussianWarCrimes #ManipulativePropaganda #RussianPropaganda
