It is my favorite of the lower priced Michter’s. The Michter’s 10 Year Bourbon was in my top 5 of 2023. The Michter’s Barrel Strength Toasted Rye was pretty darn good. 🥃

Yes, I was not counting the 10-Year Bourbon or Rye in my ranking...just the 4 lower proof shelfers...Bourbon, Rye, Sour Mash, and American Whiskey. Cheers Dave!

I managed to get a 2023 toasted rye that I just opened recently. Holy smokes that's a delicious bottle.

Cotton candy sweet. I like Michters American a bunch. But remember Old Carter is an entirely different animal with a blend of Light Whiskey.

Agreed...and I love the Light Whiskey profile so that's probably why I love Old Carter American Whiskey flavor profile so much. Also, I will send you the link for Tuesday night live stream on Monday. We will do your blind right away since I know you don't like to be up real late.

It's rare for a sub 90 proofer to have that kind of flavor. They are masters at Michter's.
