There is so much more to see in Switzerland. I loved Montreux. If you go back please head for the Bernese Oberland regions, including Grindelwald, Murren, the Lautterbrunnen Valley and Adelboden. It is just magnificent. I loved Chamonix but the Bernese Oberland is breathtaking. Also, the train ride from Zurich to St. Moritz through the Engadine is stunning.

Never made it to Switzerland, would like to, my son & I, created our own travel plans to various places by rail in Europe. It is great, even long days from Paris to Barcelona. We started off with 2 small suitcases, needed to buy larger suitcases, for additional goodies, well worth it. Thanks for sharing the added bits of travel. 😊

🍎 Kj and Tony, Beautiful fabulous day in our part of the world! Hope it is for you all as well. Fabulous news about Monaco that's very close to where you guys live. It's only 11 miles from Nice France. It's the second smallest independent country in the world. Population is a little over 36,000 and over 12,000 are millionaires. Are you planning on going there in the Summertime to show us one of the most beautiful, fabulous, hidden little paradise country in world? Better yet, I'm sure you can find the best champagne in the world there known to man and woman if you prefer! Waiting to see these millionaires on your video of Monaco. Ciao! 🌴

Thank you for sharing! I was in Geneva many years ago and as an international city, my city guide spoke several languages which I found. Quite impressive. My visit was when I was 27 years old and at the time booking a hotel could be done at the tourist office at the train station. Well, in Geneva and unbeknown to me at the beginning I was booked by the tourist office in the red light district. Eventually I figured it out. I was wondering why the men were looking at me weirdly. Ah yes, life adventures do bring surprises sometimes.

Oh how I love Queen! Freddie was such a character...and one hell if a singer...and Brian, Roger and John so completed the sound of Queen...superb. Beautiful scenery! BTW..Freddie and I are 4months apart in age. He's famous, I'm not. 😂

Same is happening here in Naples, Fl…..we have been here over 20 years but our workers cannot afford to live here.

Way too much luggage and if you were traveling in season you would not have found it so easy with all that luggage.

Tony actually overstated the luggage. We had a total of 4 bags, which included 2 carryon bags. Part of the reason is that I generally work while we travel and require an entire carryon for my work supplies 🙃
