This looks like an amazing Bible! I love how newer Bibles are adding so much color inside! I wish there was this kind of variety when I was younger because it was so hard for me to read and enjoy God's Word when it was all black and white, but I'm so glad these types of Bibles are created now! I have this one in the brown/teal leather touch. It is very nice and the colors are great. I like the parallel passages, time lines, photos and charts. Mine is also glued and not sewn. Thanks for the nice review as always.

I ordered one a few months ago, thinking there would be a Reading Plan in the back, however, nope. So, I had to search the internet to actually find one, but, in trying to follow along for a bit, I decided it was not for me, mainly because it is in hardcover. They did a great job putting this all together with the maps, timelines, etc. I will be donating my copy to a Baptist Church and check for a Kindle Version, or wait for the Logos Bible Software Edition to get produced, which is in the works.

I bought the NLT version of this Bible today after watching your review. Thank you for sharing! I got it in a small family owned Christian bookstore for $38. I’m willing to pay a little more to support them.

Love this Study Bible! I have the NLT Version. I was following along with you in mine, and everything pretty much was lined up the same, except for when you got to the back of your KJV Version - my NLT Version did not have the circular Calendar or pages in the back for Notes. The NLT Version is 2106 pages, not including the Maps at the back of the Bible. Such a gorgeous Bible. Getting ready to compare this one and my NIV Chronological Study Bible. My favorite Bible right now! Makes everything so clear. Though I wish it had some deeper gospel- centered commentary at times. It can be a little too basic/vague in its application. But along with a second more doctrine focused Study Bible I’ve been able to fill in the gaps nicely!

I have around 10 kjv study Bibles. This is by far the best! Its pages are nice and plasticy (not a word but you know what I mean). It has much more information than my other study Bibles. It is set out in segments of historical importance/dispensations and makes reading it just superb. As the reviewer says herself, this is one great Bible!

Looks like a nice Bible. It's great how printing technology today allows us to have such colorful, clear formatting at an affordable price. Too bad it doesn't seem to be sewn binding. Thanks for another great review!

Very nice Bible and you know I've got this open Bible that is glued if you take care of it and not be too rough on it it'll last especially if you use this Bible for study purposes only what a great price great review is always Lord bless you

Just ordered this... I like how it has all of the extra archeological and historic data, not really interested in the Christian dogma, so much as the historic aspect of Christianity, so I'm really looking forward to this...

It’s an awesome Bible. I’ve told Tyndale a few times that they need to incorporate all of the full color content from this one into the regular LASB editions because that would make it one of the top study Bibles if they did that but for some reason they only put it in the chronological editions. It’s a neat Bible, I’m sure you’d like it.

Really looking forward to getting this Bible, I'm concerned about the glue binding, it kept me from buying the illustrated edition, but I've always loved the LA Bibles so I will just have to be extra careful. BTW, Amazon lists the font as a 9 I believe, I looked up the isbn you provided.

Bruno G it’s a great Bible and if you’re careful with it hopefully it will last for several years at least. Thanks for the font size info. It’s very readable and the full color is awesome. I carefully broke it in when I got it so if it lasts a few years I’ll be happy. I am extra cautious with glued bindings. I really wish publishers would stick with sewn bindings, especially on thick Study Bibles. This one had such neat content that I knew it would be worth getting. Plus I’ve been wanting to do a Chronological read through...thank you for watching and taking the time to comment. I appreciate it very much.

@@BibleBelievingChristian I have been following you almost from the beginning but I've had very little time to watch content due to a lot of family responsibilities this year; but just today I was picking up lunch and the clerk was doing Bible study between customers, before her was a small Bible, a journal, a set of colored highlighters, notebook and her phone. Not only did it make me think of your videos but I was envious, because it was just her and God and it made me realize how little time I've set aside to spend with God and here she managed to find the time, so that's what brought me back today, I searched for Bible Believing Christian and this video for this amazing Bible popped up. I have never done a chronological read through either, but it suits me being the detailed guy that I am and it will be a real treat doing so with this beautiful Bible, two copies are already in my cart on Amazon, but the NLT edition, and it's now #1 on my summer project list! PS I just noticed your link, I definitely want to support your channel, I will follow the link and try to get the NLT edition from the linked page, hopefully you'll still get credit.

The hustle n bustle of daily life can get hectic and cause you to not find the time so even if it’s 10-15 minutes a day it’s better than nothing at all. I watch sermons or Bible studies while I get ready for work in the morning and I do my Bible reading at night during the week and morning and night on the weekends...when it gets busy an audio Bible can be great cause you can listen to it on your daily commute which is nice...this Bible will be neat to read through chronologically. I appreciate you using the link but if it’s less money elsewhere then definitely save the money and buy it where it’s best for you. The links can be helpful for those who just want to check the current price quickly...I am very glad that you commented! It made me smile and I appreciate it. I pray that you’re able to get in some more Bible time. The more you get into it the more you will want to. It gets a hold of you. I am adding you to my daily prayers list.

I have the NLT version but have not reviewed it yet, but the full color content in them is fantastic and I told Tyndale's marketing department that they should consider incorporating the full color content from these chronological ones into their regular Life Application Study Bibles because it would make an already great study Bible one of the best on the market and it would be hard to beat, not sure if they will do it but it is kind of a shame it is only included in the chronological versions because it is some awesome stuff. Again this is another Bible that deserves top of the line treatment with Smyrh stitching and a genuine leather cover. The reading plan doesn’t seem very clear to me. How do I pace myself through this Bible in year?. (I know the old punchline, “One bite at a time.” ) But seriously am I missing a formal reading plan like the CSB Chronological Through the Year Bible my wife and I are reading daily.? I bought this NLT Chronological Bible for my granddaughter (8) because of all the fantastic glitter and the little side tracks and the best I could tell her was read a little bit as often as you can and you’ll get through it eventually but that doesn’t seem like a formal regimen for an adult, much less a covid era third grader. But I’m new to this exquisite translation and in my profound excitement I could be overlooking the simple key the editors designed. Otherwise this just could the best ever engineered Bible of all time. Yes, I’m that enthusiastic. It is a twenty first century masterpiece including color, scholarship and readability for today’s English speaking Christian. 💕 MikeInMinnesota

Do they have this as a NASB? I’m looking for a really good bible in that translation. So far I have the Illustrated Study Bible the Prayer Bible and the CSB Study Bible for Women. Any suggestions you’ve sold me on the ones I have so far 😆☺️❤️

Deserie Drew they only have the regular edition of the LASB in the NASB and it is just black and white, not full color. It’s s great study Bible though. As far as text only Bibles in the NASB my favorite is the giant print personal size edition by Zondervan, it’s not big at all but the print quality is really good! This a really old video so I pray I can get an answer. If you had middle school-aged children and you were thinking of making the chronological study Bible as a homeschool curriculum, which one of these wold you get? The KJV (which would prepare them for high school work) or the NLT? I really wish this came in the ESV, CSB, or even NIV. We are pretty conservative and I am really not happy with these two options for this age of child. Which would you choose?

Out of the two I would personally opt for the NLT. I think it will be much more engaging for them since it will be easier to understand and anything that can get kids more engaged with and hopefully more excited about the Bible is a good thing! Plus with the KJV so many words have changed meaning since 1611 when it was translated and they might take something out of context if they don’t know that some of the words have changed meaning over the 400+ years since it was released… I hope that helps. Is this one newer than the KJV Study Bible by Holman? I’m wondering if they were competing with them by also offering a full-color version for their customer base. Moreover, I’ve always suspected that Holman copied many of the LAB features (e.g., timelines in each chapter), but offered a colorized edition.

I am not sure which one was done first. I have suggested to Tyndale to add this full color content to the rest of the LASB line because it is really neat content and it would make the LASB hard to compete with. I don't know why they only offer it in the chronological editions, I would love to see them incorporate it into the others because it would be so awesome and make their sales soar. Many people, especially the younger generation would find the full color content much more engaging as well. I love the LASB but would love it even more with this content added to it. Lucia Terrones I haven’t gotten the 1st Century one yet but I do have the teachings of the Torah which I’m told is taken from that same study Bible, I haven’t confirmed it but it’s what I have heard... Bro. Rocco Rubino I think the cultural backgrounds one is really neat and is definitely worth looking into. It’s unique enough that I don’t think you’d be disappointed in it. I know a lot of people who find that one to be their favorite study Bible.

If I had to choose one I would opt for the non chronological one because more often than not you probably won’t want to be reading the Bible chronologically and you’ll want to be able to easily find whatever passage you’re looking for which is much more difficult in a chronological layout so I think you’d get more use out of the other one. This one is an awesome Bible but I only use it when I do a chronological read through which is every few years so it is not the most practical Bible to have. I hope that helps

Yes it is in chronological order but keep in mind you’ll be reading similar passages from different books and it can make it feel like it’s repeating itself a lot but that’s only because we don’t usually read the Bible chronologically. If you want to see how a chronological format looks you could google the one year chronological Bible and click on the PDF format of it and look it over to see if you think you’ll like it. I think everyone should read the Bible chronologically at least once. I really like the regular one year reading plan. @biblebelievingchristian I am really interested in this one. I went ahead and got the NLT Illustrated Study Bible ( even though glued binding ). It started falling apart ,but you were correct in that it is still awesome. What I am wondering is...do you think because this glued as well...that possible pages will come out like the NLT Illus.S.B ? And if so would you still think it is worth it? I know I do not regret the purchase for the NLT Illus. S.B because so good...just hoping this is the same level of awesome lol so to speak. So you would recommend even though glued?

If you’re interested in ready then Bible in chronological order it’s an awesome Bible and because it’s not one you’d use for everyday use because it’s chronological you may find it will hold up longer than if it was a regular formatted Bible. The content in it is awesome. I keep suggesting to Tyndale to add the full color content of this one to their regular LASB because it would make it the best study Bible out there. I do really like this one but since I only read the Bible chronologically every few years I think it will hold up.

francis rozario it is a great Bible! Have you ever checked out christianbook.com to see what they charge to ship to your country? They have very reasonable rates for overseas shipping. If you put an item in your cart and then scroll down to the shipping and handling link on the bottom left it will let you click on your country and it shows the cost to ship what’s in your cart to you. It’s pretty neat and definitely worth checking out.

francis rozario definitely check out their website cause often it is less from them with shipping than shipping alone cause they get much better rates than individuals get. They also have great customer service too.

I know, it’s odd. They need to move to all sewn ones, especially thick study Bibles. I can see having the lower priced outreach and gift & award Bibles being glued because they’re so inexpensive but the study Bibles and others should be sewn.

I wish they would add the full color content of this one to the regular Life Application Study Bible because all the full color is awesome! I have only done one read through chronologically and it was neat but having a Bible in chronological order makes it much harder to use for any other purpose because you can’t find what you’re after. So a Bible like this one isn’t as practical for daily use unless you specifically want to read it chronologically, otherwise a regular one would be a better option I think because you can always print out the one year chronological reading plan and use it with a regular Bible.

The full color content in this one is absolutely awesome but it is in chronological order which is the only drawback vs the regular LASB. I keep telling the publisher they need to add this same full color content into the regular LASB editions because it would make it the best study Bible out there. If you plan on doing a read through the Bible in chronological order this one is well worth it but if the chronological part isn’t appealing to you then I’d go with the 3rd edition LASB because it’s more usable for every day use whereas this one is just for a chronological order and layout but it’s an awesome Bible because it has a lot of images I’ve never seen in any other Bible & I like to do a chronological read through every other year or so. This one is great when reading the New Testament and the Gospels and having it in order. But both are great Bibles but this one may limit you due to the chronological order. If it’s going to be your only study Bible I’d go with the other one vs this one. I hope that helps. Thank you so much for watching and taking the time to comment. I appreciate it 😊

@@zacharymenendez844 an LASB will be perfect then because the ESV one has tons of full color content so I’d go for whichever one appeals to you the most because if it is more appealing and more engaging you’ll use it more but for what you’re wanting it for the 3rd edition would probably be the better choice out of the two.

@@BibleBelievingChristian thank you a church is buying it for me in another state they may have ordered the chronological one already not sure but there pastor recommends the life application aswell so hopefully it's not to late but I'll be grateful for either one !!

@@zacharymenendez844 either one will be awesome. But if you do get the chronological one you should read the Gospels first because it’s neat reading it all in order. Either way you’ll love it and be blessed by it.

The nlt illustrated study bible and the csb study bible and the new niv study bible is way better

@@BibleBelievingChristian i love side column references in the newer version of the 2015 niv zondervan study bible. Do you prefer side column references or the classic center column reference

catina claytor as long as the font is readable and there isn’t a lot of ghosting I am ok with either one.
