It is actually not that bad because when it goes up you can see under the hood my friend has had that happen on his late model why everyone has a bad start or someone if front of him stacks up

Probably because she ran over a shoe, and then an amount of time later, asked what she hit. For comparison, 90% of the time, the driver knows what they hit, cause they used their eyes to look at it

Apparently the audio clip of Danica complaining about her steering at Montreal was recorded BEFORE she hit the shoe. Her car was already failing her.

Honestly, I would say the 1st lap crash in the 2001 Winston was a blessing in disguise for Jeff Gordon. Also, 5:05 *sigh* 2012 fills up a lot of slots of races that got away from Jimmie.

Denny Hamlin's car must have been creating a lot of downforce in the middle and near none on the rear the second time around.. yet it still kept it under control. I don't really watch nascar much but respect should be given where its earned. I couldn't imagine driving like that.

That Kasey Kahne one at Michigan was more heartbreaking than unlucky. That was the first race weekend after the death of Jason Leffler, a driver who is close friends with Kasey.

The shoe didn't have anything to do with Danica's mechanical failure. She wheel-hopped too many times and damaged the suspension. She was complaining about the problem before she hit the shoe, it was just a coincidence.

Wanna talk unlucky? I dont remember what year it was, but Robby Gordon was dominant at I believe Watkins Glen, (for sure a road course) and he was forced to retire from the race because an on board camera for TV caught on fire.

I still and can't stand Kyle Busch dominating and I remember being bored out of my wits knowing the 18 was most likely gonna win Bristol when Bammm! 10:57. He got hit by the lapped down car...mood changed...was definitely jumping up and down in front of the TV! I remembered this moment! 😃
