Cool air or cool water on the back of your neck is a way to cool the entire body. Same with pouring cold water on your wrists. Dont want to do super cold water on a super hot day because your chances of a stroke go up exponentially.

Does the fan and battery pack fit to the headband that comes with the headlamp? If so it would fit to any hard hat

The fan and battery weighs 2.5 lbs. The hard hat and light are 1.5 lbs. It weighs 4lbs all together. I can see the hard hat being an issue for some people. I’ve had ones in the past that didn’t fit right. I’m not sure if it’s the shape of the hard hat or the suspension system that causes the issue. I don’t have too big of a gap around my head in this hard hat. I’ll try to adjust it and see if I can get more room.

It isn’t carbon fiber. It’s a film that makes it look like it is carbon fiber.

i barely feel any air on mine and the back of the hard hat where the wheel is to tighten to your head is absolutely annoying. feels like a pin stabbing you in the back of your head.

Yep I did not like anything about the way the shell of the hard hat was made I had the white one with the clip-on light and the ratchet tightening part was fine but my head hit above it on the actual shell of the hard hat so if something must have hit me right there it would have hit right at my head also because the shell of the hard hat was actually touching my head I hated it I went and spent the money and bought the lift Dax 50/50
