@@ElectricalTime Purchased one this evening. Did exactly what it was supposed to do. Tested on a live fridge plug. Also unplugged it. No signal. Peace of mind.

Quick comment 1. I’m a big fan of Milwaukee, but don’t buy Milwaukee voltage detectors. 5 years ago I bought a Milwaukee voltage detector and it’s a piece of garbage. Not very long ago, I thought they probably fix and update this, so I bought another one. Guess what, I wasted another $20😂 2.Klein makes good ones. Some of them have a light. It would give a lot help 3.About this kind cord, feel it by fingers. Rough side is neutral and smooth side is hot side

Thanks for your comment. I tried the Klein Non-Contact Tester with the built in light and I was not happy with it. The tester was too sensitive and would start beeping before getting close to the conductors, also the one I tried had a short point and was not able to be inserted into the receptacle and to hold itself there while I turn off breakers.

Sir I am new to your channel, do you have an episode for checklist tools for electricians? The reason I am asking is because I watched the podcast episode you had with the 360 electrician and you guys talked about a torque screwdriver that was the best for connections, and I didn't think it was a necessary tool. But when you explained from the inspector perspective especially for electrical inspection on connections, I am now wondering what else am I missing hence the question. Thank you Sir.
