KLM holds a very special place in my heart and it made me laugh (in a good way)when you mentioned they are so friendly because it's so true! I was a travel agent for 20 years ( starting from 1984...) and had an amazing relationship with KLM! I've flown with them many times (Economy, Business, First) and absolutely loved it! Not to mention the fact that Amsterdam is one of my favourite cities! Awww the good old days of travelling...✈💙

I worked on Sint Maarten in the ‘80’s on Simpson Bay at Mary’s Boon. Used to watch the Air France Concorde land all the time. Often they would turn the wrong way after landing to stop at the terminal because then SXM was one of the rare airports that did that the reverse of most airports. We’d get jet blasted when that happened but those Concorde landings were spectacular!

I love KLM also in tourist class! I`ve flown in Europe and AMS-U.S. Friendly and professional always. The classic sky blue livery and uniforms never get old either. Hearing Dutch is cool too. What can I say? I`m a fan!

so you flew to my part of the world..just a little further south to the island of the Hummingbird and Calypso music..TRINIDAD !! The Menu 6:50 looks well presented, those cheese & nuts 8:47 containers are cute, your starter 9:02 is rather generous, the main course 9:07 is a little different in the presentation in that bowl, 9:20 cheese plate could be a little more, but the teacup is cute. the light meal 12:02 before landing, not sure if I would have room for a burger since that is kinda heavy, was not expecting that for the business class..could a burger king burger..hehehe. Hopefully one day 13:43 you will venture further south to my island...welcome to the Caribbean..enjoy!

Very nice, those engines are music to my ears. And I think that last runway you flew over was the one I touched down on as I was stopped through Amsterdam. Those cars to my right were moving very fast, almost along with the NorthWest airlines DC-10-30 as we were landing at the time.

Please, would you mind telling the date of the trip? I really do appreciate youtubers who don't speak during these trip reports. There are some youtubers that talk without a break and it is so annoying. I don't know how they dare doing it, guess many travellers who are sitting next to them deslike it just like I do.

I traveled with KLM many years ago, very friendly crew, wonderful experience.

Just to be on the safe side: the amenity kit for this flight has been designed by Jan Taminiau. He is one of Dutch very well known designers. Especially, for the Dutch Queen Maxima as well as in her days as a royal princess. Taminiau has been creating various dresses for her, like the wonderful dress with hood in blue, she was wearing during her husband King William Alexander's coronation in the New Church of Amsterdam.

I’m still amazed that these huge jets get off the ground. I’m a nervous flyer and usually have to take a couple of diazepam to deal with flight anxiety. A tip to those who also take benzodiazepines, take them on an empty stomach. They work better for some reason without food. And avoid alcohol. Do you ever get nervous?

I've flown BC on KLM several times, but that was always in a Boeing 747. I can see Airbus offers much more attractive interiors.

Another great video and thank you for sharing. Any particular reason why your KLM flight needed to board off terminal at Schiphol? Also, no doubt the KLM flight attendants are the nicest but they could also be the oldest; except for maybe Delta's.

Minor correction: you stated the Economy Class seating was 2-3-2, but the video would appear to be 2-4-2. True, no one is ever more than 2 seats away from an aisle, but they are 4 seats across.

I flew with KLM to Rwanda but I did not like the business class in the A330, because the seats are pretty small. But otherwise great airline especially short-haul,

Six abreast 2-2-2 is premium economy, not long haul business class on a serious airline.
