Let’s take a look at the signings in the summer 2015 a few months before Klopp arrives. Gomez, Milner, Bobby, Clyne and Ings are all the type of players Klopp loves. I think he was very close to take over Liverpool in the summer but he needed a vacation and they made an informal deal for the 16/17 season. But Rodgers couldn’t hold it together more than a couple of months.
